★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We just started going to Dr. Senes a year ago with our (then) 13 yr old golden doodle and 9 yr old wheaten. Dr. Senes was kind and knowledgeable and very obviously loves dogs. When our older dog started to fail, she identified the issue and set up a protocol of care that allowed us an additional 5 months of good quality of life time with our dog. When it was finally time to put our old girl down, the office was supportive and patient giving us the time to say goodbye. She gave us a paw print ceramic disc, gave us wind chimes and shared a small bit of our dogs fur as a memento. So appreciated and lovely.
April 22 · Anne FritzWe took one of our boys into Suburban Animal Hospital after he'd been to a different vet. He wasn't properly diagnosed with heartworm until we went to Suburban Animal Hospital, who I thoroughly trust to treat him and give us all the years we want with him. Thank you SAH!!!!
July 14 · TRPI have a very reactive and sensitive German Shepard who is a big boy and a no boundaries breath sniffing golden doodle who will lick your face off. Dr. Senese is amazing with both of them! Our gsd gets extremely stressed coming in and needs to wear a muzzle for the majority of the appointment which he hates and freaks out over. Dr. Senese prioritizes him and works efficiently and swiftly to ensure his stress levels don't stay elevated. By the end of the visit, she gets him to calm down and magically gets him to eat a pup cup right out of her hand! She's just that good! The goldendoodle can be stubborn to work with as he is a wild man who doesn't like being controlled but she handles him perfectly! She has always been respectful and responsible with our pups and there's nobody else I would trust! We moved away a year and a half ago and make the drive in to come see her for all of our vet needs! She is passionate and knowledgeable and I love the way she handles my pups. She's the best!Updating because our goldendoodle recently became ill (sadly still is right now) with a virus. We called and Dr. Senese got him in same day and was so gentle and informative. Drew was our vet tech (we had him last time too) and he is incredible! He is patient and has the best energy, Winston absolutely adores him and his friendliness and manner in which he handles/treats the dogs is marvelous. I love this duo of Drew and Dr. Senese, they took charge with giving Winston what he needs and hopefully he will be back to 100% soon. We moved about 40 minutes away and are happy to travel to her for our vet needs.Thank you both for being so perfect for our pups!
July 30 · LauraBy far the best that I've ever had the pleasure of using since I've been in Chicago area The staff is extremely friendly the fed is extremely knowledgeable and explain everything in detail which I found very very helpful.
July 10 · Ronald FortDr. Senese & her team are amazing! They are so wonderful & caring with our dogs & took wonderful care of our sweet cat until she passed at 18, going above & beyond for my special needs daughter when she lost her, making a special paw print & little keepsakes of her fur. It was such a sweet gesture to ease my daughter's grief. I have been coming to South Suburban Animal Hospital for 40 years since we had my childhood dog & I always will. ❤️
