Swannanoa Valley Animal Hospital Reviews
I’ve taken my pets to Dr Sharp for almost 20 years and he and his staff have always been very friendly and caring.I’ve had to have three of my babies euthanized and they were very kind and they really cared. I remember the last time I had to have my Maltese put down the vet tech that was with me cried too. I want to mention Carolyn who has been working for Dr Sharp since I started taking my pets there. She’s the best! Lulu was recently spayed, Rufus will be having surgery soon and Mr Ripley has been doing great since Dr Sharp diagnosed him with diabetes which I give him insulin and he’s doing great!

Jun 15, 2025 · Corey WilsonI love this clinic. Dr Scott is great, wonderful with our shy rescue pittie. Vet tech Jess is the best I’ve ever experienced: calm, really listens, made an instant connection with our dog who is fearful of new people.
May 15, 2025 · Dana HarrisonThey have a great staff, good doctors, relatively short weight time, and my dog actually wags her tail to go inside the building, ha ha. That says something right there.
Mar 03, 2025 · Julia GauntI can't thank this place enough. They have been there for me so many times, even when I didn't have enough money. Through my own struggles with my health, which has been going on for a while now, they helped me financially as much as pissible. They are the nicest kindest and most loving vet that I have ever been to. They always make sure my dogs have medicines. I recently had to put down my dog, she had tumors and they came out of nowhere in within 2 weeks, she was got too sick to the point she couldn't walk. They were so good throughout the process of putting her down and even paid for my ashes because I was going to take her home and bury her. They also gave her a life-saving surgery about 2 years ago and helped me pay for it along with the Asheville Humane Society. Now I'm down to one dog who is much younger. I would recommend them to anybody, and as long as I have an animal, that's where they're going. It's worth the drive from Weaverville. Way better than Charlotte Street or any other place that I have been. I am so grateful for them. Their staff cares, and their Doctors Care.
