Another review, however, highlights the exceptional care and communication provided by a specific doctor, who gave daily video updates and was described as a "top notch surgeon" who "definitely cares for her patients." ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My experience at Texas A&M Vet Hospital was extremely disappointing and disheartening. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that genuine care and compassion for pets was not their priority. The staff came across as cold, dismissive, and disorganized. I left feeling like my pet was just another number rather than a life they were committed to helping. On top of the poor service, the costs are outrageous. A standard visit came out to nearly $1,500, which is beyond unreasonable for basic veterinary care. For those prices, you would at least expect thorough communication, compassion, and professionalism — but instead, the entire experience was stressful and unwelcoming.Veterinary care should be about helping animals and supporting families through difficult times. Unfortunately, Texas A&M Vet Hospital gave me the exact opposite impression. Between the excessive costs and the lack of empathy, I cannot in good conscience recommend this facility to anyone who truly loves their pet.
August 16 · jack dargeneThe staff were very nice and helpful with any questions I had regarding my horse’s procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Katie Glass as she’s very knowledgeable and detailed in her work. She’s a top notch surgeon and would give me daily video updates on my horse so I always knew how things were going. You can definitely tell she cares for her patients. 100% would recommend!
August 12 · Julie WolfertTheir policies do not make any sense and their prices are ignorant being a school where your students are benefiting. The prices should not be as high because of no one comes to you. You don’t get the experience aside from the horrible price and horrible being the nicest way I could say it as for the policies I called about my dogs cataracts. I have to take my dog to a vet that is not qualified in anyway to do anything about cataracts. And get a referral to take my dog to a place that I am paying cash if they’re not qualified in cataracts, then they’re not qualified to make decisions in cataracts. That is another waste of money. $5000 per eye for your students to learn how to be veterinarian doctors whatever when you’re already getting Paid for the student so now you’re getting paid twice To be able to be teaching your students so 5000 per hour starting out is very high. Maybe this is why A&M sucks.
July 01 · samuel pope1 star simply for price gouging. $6,000 I was quoted for my cats 3 night stay for observation, iv fluids, ultrasound, bloodwork and urinalysis. It was Easter Sunday and the only place open. Went to Wellborn Vet Hospital the next day and got quoted $1,000 for the exact same treatment plan. Insane price differences, even for simple things like biohazard disposal was quadruple the price at A&M.
April 21 · Kna B.Justin in Oncology is an amazing vet tech. He has listened to my questions and helped my husband and me through this painful situation. Stephanie, the student doctor, was caring and will be great veterinarian. Dr. Warry was kind and explained our treatment options for our beloved cat.
