Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospital of Holly Springs Reviews
I highly recommend this clinic. Over the weekend, our sweet boy suddenly lost the use of his back legs, and since our regular vet was closed, we came here in a time of urgent need and deep worry. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with care and compassion. We were immediately taken to a room, and Holden was gently brought back for an exam. The doctors took the time to speak with us about the necessary tests before proceeding, clearly explaining what to expect—both medically and financially. Sadly, the outcome was not what we had hoped for, and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye.Throughout the entire process, the staff showed incredible kindness and empathy. They gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes, and we never felt rushed or pressured. Their support made an unbearable moment a little more bearable. We were also able to pick up his ashes the very next day, which we appreciated deeply. We are forever grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown to us and to Holden during one of the hardest times in our lives.
May 22, 2025 · Melissa GrahamI had an excellent experience with all of the staff and doctors who were accommodating, knowledgeable, and sincere. The front desk staff went out of their way to answer questions and the doctors didn’t hesitate to come speak to me the many times I wanted more information. During my dog’s stay after her surgery, I got unsolicited calls from both the night shift and day shift to give me updates on how she was doing and I was impressed that it was the on duty doctor, not a nurse or other staff member, who called with these updates. That made it much easier to ask any questions and it was incredibly reassuring to be able to speak with the doctors directly during her recovery.Thank you to everyone there for truly exceptional care, you all turned a terrible situation an easy and comfortable experience and it’s because of you my dog got to come home.
Mar 08, 2025 · John PannillSaturday (5/10) I called Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospital of Holly Springs because our 4.5 month old GSP puppy was not eating and she was very lethargic. They told us to bring her in. After examining her it was found that she had Parvo. We were floored because she was vaccinated. The Vet advised us that it would be best to go ahead and hospitalize her but we could try home care and see how she does. We chose to try home care first, so the Vet gave her a shot of two week antibiotic medicine and made sure that she was hydrated well before we left. Sunday morning (5/11) we could tell that she wasn't feeling any better (actually seemed worse) so we decided to take her back immediately, at which point she was then admitted. The first few days were not only very emotional but also scary because we didn't know if our fur baby was going to make it. They kept us updated daily and took our calls and answered any and all questions that we had. It didn't take long for us to see that the entire staff from the Doctors, Nurses, Vet Techs and everyone in between actually cared about and was giving 100% of themselves to helping our little Lola. 5 days later she came home and today just a couple of weeks later, you would not know that she was ever sick! These folks are awesome! One thing that I realized throughout this is that when we bring our pets to the hospital, it's usually the last resort with less than desirable odds. These folks try everything that they can and really give their all to help our pets. Thank you again to ALL of the staff at Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospital of Holly Springs!
May 29, 2025 · Brian HowellI called this office and told them about my dog’s injury. I was given an estimate over the phone of $500-$600 for X-rays. I took my dog into this office yesterday with a dislocated hip. They told use what they would need to do for him and we inquired prices upfront. We agreed to most of the treatment but declined to have a chest xray, because we felt he was not experiencing labored breathing. This lowered the cost. (After reviewing the bill, I’m unsure about the second xray and why one costs twice as much.) I also signed a DNR and the vet, herself, explained that it’s a costly procedure to resuscitate and the likelihood of him actually walking alive was between 2-5%, if he had to be resuscitated. As we were leaving the vet, and never having seen what an adequately wrapped Ehmer sling should look like, we left. Our dog stayed in his kennel and medicated to rest overnight. As soon as the office opened this morning I called and inquired if the bandage was supposed to be this loose because he had more of a range of motion than anticipated. They requested a standing picture and I sent this one. They wanted me to return so they could repeat the process from 14 hours before but take away the emergency fee and medication, so approximately $700. After begging them to reconsider they emailed back that could do closer to $300.My son, that paid the first bill, left a review that the integrity of the bandage that was placed was inadequate to begin with and that they were currently not standing behind the care that provided within 14 hours.I then received an email that they would no longer be able to treat my dog’s medical needs and that I would need to follow up with another provider, because the review my son had left was unfavorable. Please make this treatment and this bill make sense. I only asked for it to be properly wrapped and said I would agree to sign a waiver saying I declined further imaging, as I do not believe his hip has been re-injured. He’s been medicinally sedated in a kennel since we left their office.
Jun 12, 2025 · Marsha StancilI honestly don’t think I could leave a review that would do justice for this business. I first met this practice two years ago when my 2 year old toy poodle Gus was accidentally cut during a grooming appointment at a neighboring business. The cut required him being put to sleep and receiving stitches. I was concerned because he was so little ringing in at a whopping 4 lbs.Every single member of staff I spoke with throughout the entire experience was incredibly kind and caring. He recovered quickly and fully. Well, except he would no longer allow anyone to groom him except me. 😌😃Two years later my I needed the services of this business again. It was a Tuesday two weeks ago that I went from playing fetch and snuggling my little companion of four years, to the horror of him being attacked and killed instantly by a big dog. I was absolutely devastated and inconsolable! My husband called TVRH and let them know the situation. It was 10:00 pm when we arrived. I was so distraught I just could not fathom bringing my sweet baby in the building and leaving him to never see him again. An employee, Bree, came outside to the car and consoled me. She never acted like it was annoying or inconvenient or like she had anything else to do. We were her priority at that moment. Her tenderness and care helped motivate me to bring Gus inside. She led us to a quiet, private room where we could love on our beloved companion and say goodbye. She gave us all the time we wanted. She offered to get prints and molds of his nose and paws at no charge, regardless if we used their services for his burial or not. She said we didn’t have to use their services. She asked if we would like to know our options. She gave them to us after we responded yes. We decided to take him home and think about it. When my husband brought him back an hour later, they were so gracious and kind.We decided to have him cremated. The next day my daughter called and made a request to have some of his ear hair and body hair cut and bagged for me. At the time, I felt like any little piece of Gus I could keep would help me heal. My daughter said the woman on the phone was beyond understanding and kind and accommodating.Today I picked Gus up. I am attaching a picture of everything I received and the extra mile every single employee went to for me and my husband in a time when our grief overwhelmed us. I even have to share that Bree must have heard us talk to Gus in the room the night we were saying goodbye to him because she used his nickname we used for him in the card she sent.Honestly the most incredible experience ever! It was traumatic and overwhelming for me, but they did everything they could possibly do to make me feel heard and cared for. I wasn’t a client. I was a person. And Gus wasn’t “just a dog,” he was my best friend. They saw that and respected and appreciated it.My gratitude is beyond words.Attached is a picture of our sweet Gus the morning life changed for us. And the second picture is many ways TVRH displayed the thoughtful care they did.
