Mar 22, 2024 · Pat CobbMatrix loves going here. The girls always make a big deal out of him n he loves being the center of attention. He’s a 83 pound black boxer bull dog that’s a huge baby. He receives the best care possible with Dr Swan n staff! Dr Swan takes the time to explain things to you. He genuinely cares about his patients! You never feel rushed when you are there with your pet . I had another Boxer Bull Dog named Brandi who had lived out her years and was in the process of passing away when I took her to Trinity. Dr Swan stayed in the room with me and her and explained how things would transpire because her organs were shutting down and her body temperature was dropping. I did not want her to be in pain her last minutes of her life because he told me that her organs would erupt I asked him if he could put her to sleep because I wanted her to pass with dignity. That was the least I could do for my beloved pet that had brought so much joy to my life. Dr Swan stayed in the room for 1 hour and 42 minutes with us listening to me ramble on about her and Matrix , he was very tentative about taking her temperature and explaining the different stages of her death to me like distancing herself from me ( she turned away from me instead of facing me ) she didn’t want me to be upset. As she began to have a seizure he grabbed her up and whisked her out of the room and gave her the shot just in time for her to not feel her organs explode on the inside and for blood to come from her bowel. She died with dignity and he cleaned her up and laid her on a table with a pillow under her head and a blanket over her to her shoulders. She looked like she was sleeping. He came back in the room and got me and took me to her and told me to stay with her as long as I wanted. I had her cremated . He gave me a pamphlet with all the information and told me that they would take care of it and call me when she was ready. A few days later she was ready and I went and picked up her urn and brought her home. The Staff of the new Trinity Veterinary Hospital sent me a sympathy card letting me know that they cared and they were there for me. I have always used the veterinary hospital because it is within 7 miles of my home. But Dr Swan is the best Veterinarian that has ever been at this location.
Jun 18, 2024 · Elaine StricklandMy mom had just gotten a 7 week old kitten the day before. Of course the next morning he was doing what kittens do and ended up missing his jump and fell. His back leg was obviously in pain and he wouldn't put any pressure on it. We could not get in anywhere and not knowing how severe the injury was, two weeks out was not an option. We called Trinity and had an appointment the next day, but was able to work us in that day. Fortunately it was not serious but a tiny kitten with an obvious injury seems a little important. We were so grateful that they could work us in that day. Our other options were driving 45 minutes to some walk in clinics. The staff was super nice and accommodating, as well as knowledgeable. Dr. Swan was very informative and caring with our situation. My mother and I have used another vet for years and years with our various pets. We were both extremely comfortable and happy when we left. So much so that I am seriously considering moving my pets there even though I pass every other vet in Greenville to get there! Thank you Trinity!!!
Jun 17, 2024 · Chris DailTook my dog in for a check up and his nails clipped. Recommended a shampoo for his dry skin and fish oil tablets. Also gave me a prescription for Nexgard. Really happy with his visit and everyone was very friendly. My dog, Rocky, was very comfortable and happy.
