Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital Reviews
Took Jeff for his 1st vet visit! He's almost 3 but his dad passed away and we don't know if he'd ever been to a vet. Jeff was found to be in good health and we hope to keep him that way. Dr. Cole and all the vet techs were very nice. Thank you everybody!
Jul 17, 2025 · Joy MarieIt was a great experience!! I don't remember if this was her name, but Emily was amazing! It was my first time bringing my dog to the vet, she made the process very easy and enjoyable 🙂 I definitely recommend coming, plus the wait time wasn't bad at all.
Jun 23, 2025 · Kaylie McKainThis was the worst experience at a vet I have ever had. And I run a dog rescue, so I have PLENTY of vet experience and all over. I had a new rescue in there over a week ago and the doctor never got back to me to go over results. Just texted me that I should do a Valley Fever Test for another $160!! I had no idea why or what to do. We called that location over 100x!!! Literally have screen shots. I texted that original number Dr Cole contacted me from, about the Valley fever, however, he never replied! My foster literally broke down in tears after going back in person to try and understand things and get medicine and left more confused and frustrated. He told us that my new rescue needed medicine for coccidia and, bc we have experience with so many dogs, I was familiar with the medicine that he wanted me to use. I requested an alternative that was 2 days versus his that was 3weeks. It’s also more effective and addresses more potential parasites than the one he recommend, so why wouldn’t we ask for a more effective and efficient medicine?! There is even a huge sign in front that says customers can request different medication!! Yet, Dr Cole refused. He has a very bizarre way of “discussing,” it’s more evading or dancing around. He refused the medicine I wanted and ignored the fact that I needed to get this dog quickly on the mend since he was in a home with other dogs and keeping him confined was difficult and frankly, upsetting to the foster. Dr Cole had no time or compassion for any of it. It was interesting that the medicine he insisted on was in house and more than 3x the cost of I bought it elsewhere. He was not only evasive in what I was understanding and questioning, he was completely clueless to my dog and it’s like the visit never happened. I ended up doing more testing as he told me was needed, yet later found out the initial blood indicator for such testing was negative! And more, my dog had some red flags on his bloodwork that were never even mentioned to me! So, yes, we went elsewhere and started over and lost time and money and I’ll be fighting it all. As a rescue we don’t have time or dollars to spare, honestly. But my own foster (with 3 other dogs!) had such an awful experience, they are also filing complaints. We were all left shocked at the disregard and medicine and tests that were completely unnecessary and never even followed up on. Save yourself babies and go to a vet that cares and is competent!
Jun 19, 2025 · Brienne DBDr Cole and his vet Technician Emily were extremely helpful and took the time with our dog Lizzie to offer us a treatment plan for weight loss and better. This particular practice and staff are wonderful and care about our pet’s health and needs.
