Vetco Vaccination Clinic is conveniently located at 28400 Dequindre Rd, Warren, MI 48092, USA. This address places the clinic in a highly accessible area of Warren, making it a practical option for pet owners throughout the city and surrounding communities in Michigan. Dequindre Road is a well-trafficked and easily navigable route, which contributes to the ease of visiting the clinic.
Often, Vetco Vaccination Clinics operate within larger retail stores, such as Petco or Meijer, which further enhances their accessibility by offering a familiar and convenient stop during regular errands. This setup is particularly beneficial for busy Michigan residents who appreciate the flexibility of walk-in services for routine preventative care like vaccinations. The strategic location and operational model of Vetco Vaccination Clinic underscore their commitment to providing accessible and straightforward veterinary services to the local community, making it easier for Michigan families to prioritize their pets' health.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic primarily specializes in preventative veterinary care, offering a focused range of services designed to keep pets healthy and prevent common diseases. Unlike full-service animal hospitals that handle surgeries or emergencies, Vetco clinics are designed for routine wellness and preventative measures. Their services typically include:
Vaccinations: This is a core service, providing essential vaccinations for dogs (such as Rabies, Distemper & Parvo 5-in-1, Canine Influenza, Leptospirosis, Bordetella/Kennel Cough, Lyme) and cats (such as 3-in-1 FVRCP, Feline Leukemia, Rabies). They offer various vaccination packages tailored to different needs.
Wellness Exams / Vitals Check: While not full comprehensive physical exams typically found at a general practice hospital, Vetco clinics provide wellness checks, often termed "vitals checks" or brief wellness assessments, to monitor your pet's general health before vaccinations or other minor services.
Preventative Medications: Offering prescription flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medications to protect pets from common parasites.
Testing: Essential diagnostic tests such as Heartworm & Tick-Borne Disease Testing, Intestinal Parasite Screening (fecal testing), and Feline Retroviral Testing (FeLV/FIV).
Microchipping: Providing microchip insertion services for permanent pet identification, which is crucial for reuniting lost pets with their owners.
Minor Medical Exams: For non-emergency, minor medical concerns, some Vetco Wellness Centers within retail stores may offer minor medical exams, although their primary focus remains preventative care.
Nail Trims and Ear Cleaning: Basic grooming and hygiene services are often available to maintain your pet's comfort and cleanliness.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic, particularly the location in Warren, MI, exhibits a mix of strengths and areas for improvement, as reflected in customer experiences. Here are some key features and highlights:
Highly Compassionate and Empathetic Veterinary Staff: A standout positive highlight, as noted in a glowing review, is the "amazing" and "compassionate" approach of the vet and staff (specifically mentioning Dr. McLaulin's successor and Angie the receptionist). The reviewer's experience with their "stressed out and anxious pittie" who had a growth on its paw demonstrates a genuine ability to bond with animals and make "wonderful recommendations" even when surgery isn't an option. This commitment to comfort and empathy for "fur baby" is a significant draw.
Excellent Client Communication and Education: The positive review highlights that the vet "made wonderful recommendations of what we could try," indicating a focus on educating pet owners about their options and involving them in the care plan, even for challenging cases. The receptionist Angie was also praised for her accurate recommendation of the new vets.
Accessibility and Convenience (Varying): Vetco clinics are generally designed for convenience, often being walk-in or easily scheduled for vaccinations. This model appeals to many busy Michigan pet owners. However, a critical review highlights significant issues with this convenience, detailing a "cancelled... appointment with no notice," being "closed for the entire day and not taking calls to reschedule," and then being told the dog couldn't get in until "next week," indicating "no sense of urgency, no respect for customer's time." This suggests a potential inconsistency in operational reliability and customer service.
Focus on Preventative Care: As a vaccination clinic, their specialization in preventative care makes them a go-to for routine shots, microchipping, and basic wellness checks, often at a more affordable rate than full-service hospitals.
Affordable Preventative Care: Vetco clinics are generally known for providing affordable preventative veterinary care, helping to make essential services like vaccinations more accessible to a broader range of pet owners.

For pet owners in Michigan, particularly within the Warren area, Vetco Vaccination Clinic offers a compelling option for accessible and compassionate preventative veterinary care. The clinic clearly shines in its dedication to patient comfort, as evidenced by the positive experience with an anxious pet and the "amazing" veterinarians who prioritize bonding with animals and providing thoughtful recommendations. This empathetic approach is invaluable for pet owners who want their "fur baby" to feel safe and cared for during vet visits.
However, potential clients should also be aware of the reported inconsistencies in scheduling and customer service, which might impact those needing highly reliable appointment adherence or urgent re-scheduling. For individuals primarily seeking affordable vaccinations, microchipping, and basic preventative health services, and who appreciate a caring veterinary team, Vetco Vaccination Clinic can be a suitable choice. It's an excellent resource for maintaining routine health without the potentially higher costs or complexities of a full-service hospital, making it a valuable part of the local pet care landscape in Michigan.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
Today was the first time back after Dr McLaulin retired, the receptionist Angie told me there are great vets working there after he retired. Angie was spot on, I took my 11/2 year old Corso with a growth on one of her back paws. Everybody was amazing and the Vet was amazing, came in and bonded with my Sasha and made wonderful recommendations of what we could try (surgery not an option because of her age). If your looking for compassion for your fur baby, this is the place to go.*****❤️
Jun 04, 2025 · Dave SheprakCancelled my Wednesday appointment with no notice. and then was closed for the entire day and not taking calls to reschedule. Spoke with them first thing Thursday morning and was told I couldn't get my dog in until next week. No sense of urgency, no respect for customer's time.
May 29, 2025 · Erica LynnI went to the Warren location, for a wellness check, and anal glands, they took him back, did the analysis glands that cost 25$ somewhere else and office visit. I was charged 170$ and she never examined my dog at all! Maybe I’m crazy isn’t this a regular vet?????what a disappointment. Do not go here for a check up or exam because you won’t get one what a rip-off!
Apr 24, 2025 · Laurie Smitheverybody was super nice very professional my first time there and it will not be my last. Thank you for all being so nice.
Jun 26, 2025 · Beth Joan BobowiecI can't give a star cause the Petco total care , and the clinic seem to not be inline with each other .. so I think I'm taking my business elsewhere!
