Operating with a focus on core preventative medicine, Vetco Vaccination Clinic is a convenient option for local families who want to ensure their dogs and cats are protected from common diseases without the full cost of a traditional veterinary office visit. It's a pragmatic choice for maintaining your pet's health, offering a way to keep up with crucial immunizations and screenings.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic is located within a Petco store at 6300 Robert, Kingery Hwy Suite 201, Willowbrook, IL 60527, USA. The core focus of Vetco Vaccination Clinic is its unique business model and the convenience it provides for many pet owners. Several key features and highlights distinguish this clinic from a traditional veterinary hospital.
- The clinic's specialization in vaccinations and preventative care means that it is not equipped to handle emergencies or sick visits. This focus allows the team to be highly efficient in their specific services.
- The Willowbrook location provides an excellent option for quick, essential care for pets that may be anxious in a traditional hospital setting, as it is a specialized clinic rather than a full-service hospital.
- The clinic offers a walk-in-style service model that, while sometimes leading to waits, provides a flexible alternative to traditional veterinary appointments for those with busy schedules. It is important to remember, though, that an appointment is required at this specific location, ensuring a smoother visit.
- Pricing is often a highlight for clients, as the cost of vaccinations and microchipping can be more affordable than at a full-service veterinary hospital.
- The positive experiences of some customers, who praise the service as "excellent," point to the efficiency and professionalism of the staff in their specific area of care.

When considering a veterinary service, especially for routine preventative care, pet owners in Illinois are faced with a variety of choices. What makes Vetco Vaccination Clinic worth choosing is its dedicated focus on a limited, but essential, set of services. While one customer review highlights a frustrating experience with the rabies vaccine, claiming a misinformation about a "law" that doesn't exist, it is important to note that Illinois law on rabies vaccination requires a first shot, followed by a booster within one year. After that, subsequent boosters can be a 1-year or a 3-year vaccine, depending on the USDA license of the specific vaccine used. This discrepancy might be a result of a specific clinic policy or a misunderstanding of the regulations, but it is a critical point for a pet owner to clarify beforehand. Despite this potential for frustration, the clinic remains a valuable option for many. Its primary benefits are convenience, accessibility, and affordability for core preventative care. For pet owners whose animals are healthy and simply need their routine vaccinations or microchipping, Vetco offers a quick and easy solution. By specializing in these services, the clinic can provide a streamlined experience that avoids the potential stress and cost of a full-service visit. For those who want to keep up with their pet’s vaccination schedule in an efficient and budget-friendly manner, Vetco Vaccination Clinic in Willowbrook is a worthwhile option to consider, provided they have all the necessary information about state and local laws.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
We were 2 months late for our 3 year rabies and the veterinarian told us we could only get a 1 year this time because it’s more than 30 days past and it’s the law! I called dupage county animal control and there is no law that says that and they could have gotten the 3 year rabies. I don’t understand. First off, the 1 year and 3 year rabies are basically the same! I don’t want to over vaccinate my dogs and was not happy but was at the mercy of one person-the vet who was there that day! Was it because both our dogs are bully breeds? Is Vetco trying to get more money out of people? I will never use Vetco again!!!
