Vetco Vaccination Clinic Introduce
For pet owners in the Twin Cities metro area, particularly in Blaine and surrounding communities, finding convenient and affordable preventative care is a key part of responsible pet ownership. Vetco Vaccination Clinic, located inside the Petco at 11633 Ulysses Lane NE, offers a streamlined approach to essential pet health services. This clinic specializes in providing low-cost vaccinations, microchipping, and parasite prevention, making it a popular choice for those looking to keep their pets healthy without the higher costs often associated with a full-service veterinary hospital. The clinic operates on the principle of providing accessible and professional health care for family pets, focusing on preventative veterinary medicine to avoid more expensive health issues down the road.
The service model at Vetco is designed to be efficient and focused. The clinic's primary offerings are routine vaccinations and preventative care, which is administered by state-licensed veterinarians and professional staff. While the clinic focuses on this specific range of services, it is important to note that it is not a full-service hospital and therefore does not offer a complete range of medical treatments or emergency care. Their goal is to make foundational health services readily available to pet owners in the community. Their services, such as vaccinations, microchipping, and parasite prevention, are essential for keeping your pet safe and healthy, and Vetco offers a way to get these done in a quick and convenient manner. However, customer experiences suggest that there can be challenges with appointment times and communication, so being prepared for potential wait times is advisable.
Vetco Vaccination Clinic is situated at 11633 Ulysses Lane NE, Suite 200, within the Petco store in Blaine, Minnesota. The clinic's location in a shopping area with ample parking simplifies the visit, especially for those with larger dogs or multiple pets. The clinic is committed to accessibility, offering a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, and a wheelchair-accessible restroom. When choosing a veterinary care provider, what is worth choosing is a place that aligns with your specific needs. For pet owners in the Blaine area who prioritize affordability and a no-frills approach to preventative care, Vetco Vaccination Clinic is a viable option. While customer reviews mention issues with appointment scheduling, wait times, and a lack of clear communication regarding pricing policies, the clinic’s core offerings of low-cost vaccinations and tests remain a compelling reason for many to visit. It is important to be prepared for the possibility of a wait, even with an appointment, and to confirm all pricing details and package inclusions before services are rendered to avoid misunderstandings. For those who need a full range of medical services, including emergency care, extensive diagnostics, or surgery, it may be better to seek out a full-service animal hospital. However, for essential preventative services like annual vaccines and microchipping, Vetco offers a cost-effective and convenient solution for many pet families in the area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I went to get a vaccination for Lyme and I had to return to get 2nd booster and they canceled my appointment 3 times. You have to return to get a booster otherwise you have to start the vaccination all over again. I tried getting a refund and vetco refused to give me my money back. So, basically they took my money. Don’t go here. They will scam you.
March 30 · Rachel RamosThey make you have an appointment but you will NEVER be seen on your appointment time. You sit in a line with other dogs for atleast an hour. Every single time I’ve went. The workers are extremely pokey and have no sense of urgency. Just be prepared to wait an extended amount of time. I was also quoted a price and was told that the next round of shots are free since I purchased a package price. I go for the second appointment and they want the SAME amount they charged me the first appointment. I expressed that this is not what I was told and I made sure to be very clear on my first appointment. I can understand this IF it was told to me prior to buying the package in this case I would not have. The worker assisting the lady giving the shots was mouthy and rude. Extremely dissatisfied. Will be contacting corporate and the store manager for remedy of this situation as I could continue to go on about the awfully poor experience I experienced.
November 11 · Kamron JacquesGreat quick. Loved the staff
August 19 · Kristi EwenExcellent experience here. The vet and the techs were friendly, informative, and incredibly caring to my dog. Low cost services are a great resource for pets and owners in the community. I will definitely returning.
August 22 · Stella HewettI took my dog to get groomed, Ashley asked if I wanted the same cut as last time...I proceeded to say yes...that was the biggest mistake of my life!!! SHE SKINNED MY DOG!!!! I wanted his face just trimmed in the ears and well that did not happen. I had to leave to go to an appointment and thought it would be ok, but OMG!!! My poor dog was sheared like a sheep!!! He has no look of a pom at all!! She shaved him to the skin under his belly and the only thing she did right was keep his tail. He came home, didn't want to be by anyone or even eat. What the hell did you do to my dog??? He is friendly and yesterday he stayed in his dog bed all day....I'm sure he was traumatized by the cut. When she brought him to me I about started to cry...When I asked why did you cut his face...we did not do that last time, she looked at me and laughed and said "Oh it will grow back" Seriously....this dog is not to be cut that short....he has long hair for a reason, you made my dog look stupid and all you had to say for yourself was laugh at my reaction and walk away.Stay away from Petco...when I was there waiting to pick him up, a lady dropped her dog off for the nails to be trimmed....the lady that was cutting them and working on them was ruff with the dog....I was watching and made it clear I was not about to look away, it was an older dog and clearly had some anxiety issues...I have learned my lesson and will never ever be going back to Petco for anything!! You were late for your appointment and thought it was so funny at my reaction of what you did to my poor baby....Let me take your dog and sheer him like a sheep and see how you feel!! Words along cannot explain my pain over what she did.
