For horse owners residing in Fresno, California, and the surrounding Central Valley communities, Dr. Kristen Wallert DVM stands out as an exceptionally suitable choice for their equine veterinary needs. Her practice embodies the critical qualities that are paramount when caring for these magnificent animals: specialized expertise, unwavering reliability, and compassionate care, all delivered with the convenience of a mobile service.
The most compelling reason for her suitability lies in her deep specialization as an equine veterinarian. As noted by clients like Chris and Tammie, who declare her "by far the best Equine Vet we have ever worked with," her focused expertise ensures that horses receive highly knowledgeable and targeted care. This specialization is crucial for addressing the unique health challenges that horses face, from routine maintenance to complex medical emergencies such as snake bites, which she has handled with excellent results. For horse owners, having a veterinarian who truly understands the intricacies of equine health is invaluable.
Furthermore, her mobile practice model is a significant advantage for local horse owners. The consistent praise for her punctuality and responsiveness, even in emergency situations, reinforces her reliability—a non-negotiable trait for anyone managing equine health.
However, it is important for potential clients to acknowledge that while many experiences highlight exceptional service, there can be isolated instances of communication challenges. One review mentioned a missed appointment and unreturned calls/texts, which underscores the importance of clear communication and confirmation, particularly given the mobile nature of the practice. While such experiences can be disappointing, the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding long-term care, expertise, and dedication suggests these instances may be anomalies rather than the norm for her established and highly valued service.
Despite isolated incidents, the consistent track record of providing "excellent routine care" at "reasonable rates" has fostered immense trust and loyalty among her long-standing clientele. The hope that Dr. Wallert "never moves away" from Fresno is a testament to the high regard in which she is held by those who have experienced her dedicated and knowledgeable service firsthand. For the vibrant equestrian community in the Central Valley, Dr. Kristen Wallert DVM offers not just veterinary services, but a trusted partnership in ensuring the health and well-being of their cherished horses.

Jul 22, 2022 · ChrisMy horses needed hock injections. A friend recommended Dr Wallert. I made an appointment a week in advance. Come appointment time, Dr Wallert NEVER showed and never responded to my calls or texts. Very disappointed.
Mar 19, 2021 · Kristyn SandersReally great vet, came to our ranch since we live preferably close. Took good care of my horse and easy fix, thankfully. Reasonably priced in my opinion and really nice overall!
Sep 17, 2017 · Leslie BiscayI urged the general public to seek general veterinary care elsewhere. After purchasing three animals without a contract from this doctor. One died while in her care. Changed the dynamics of the pricing for the live animals based on the pricing for the three. After reaching agreement I was not provided a contract. I was clearly charged on price for two versus three. Live animals They're registered Highland cattle. They are now in my possession and have been for over a month to this day I have not received proof of ownership or registration papers that were promised to me long ago. An emphasis on one of the cows that I purchased from this person died while in her care. This doctor has been paid in full. I have not received a receipt for payment even though requested.Professionalism is void. I was told by this person that calls herself a doctor that dr. untrustworthy would send veterinary care information documentation and has not. Unprofessionalism brings into question all decisions that this individual would make while caring for somebody else's animals.Edition additional it is noted that this doctor via text to my phone made fun of bipolar people. Having a mental disorder.Using a weakness against an individual to show strength, is an awful disgrace to any profession of a person that uses profession to down others.. this person that calls themselves a doctor She is rude, unprofessional. And a liar. Beware stay away. Find a different DVM that will not kill your animals or make fun of a mental issues which does not exist.Worse than an individual that would or may have a mental illness. I find it just horrible. That a person would say something to another person about a mental illness that has nothing to do with a business deal or situation that was already done and over with and handled. When in fact the doctor did not follow through on her good word in good faith. Which makes her a liar
Mar 05, 2017 · MR. DrewSimply the best and user friendly!! Highly recommended. I have called her 2 times last minute and she comes out within a few hours😁
