★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I see a lot of reviews on here this is my families experience of Wilson's both emergency and also the vet clinic Mr pickles had yellowing of eyes and stomach we called around and got quoted triple everywhere else Wilson's prices were very fair! Anyway he was there for 5 days and staff and vet communicated with us daily to let us know what was going on which I appreciate the initial wait to get back for the ER was long but worth it so pack your patience! The follow up vet visit was less than 40 mins our pickles is doing much better thanks to Wilson's so I wanted to get on to give my personal experience and highly recommend going here first before wasting your time and money elsewhere! Thanks again Wilson's vet my family and Mr pickles are grateful for everything!
April 01 · Brad DuffMy dog needed emergency surgery and Wilson's was able to do it. They saved her life. My dog doesn't care for most people, but the staff did so well with her. I'm so grateful to them for taking such good care of her. If you need a highly skilled veterinary hospital this is your place. They are wonderful. Also, the cost for her surgery and 2 days of care was not exuberrant either.
April 08 · Charity ColemanBuckle up, this one’s going to be long.On Monday - 5/5,I was referred to Wilson’s Vet Hospital from 2 local vet’s in the Port Huron area due to the symptoms my boy was having.Unfortunately, I knew what was coming the anxiety set in early.Distraught, I brought Gordon in for treatment. From the moment I walked in the staff treated me with kindness, and compassion.I was barely able to list off the symptoms he was feeling. The staff waited patiently, and respectfully listened to everything I had/needed to say. They took him back quickly, got us a room quickly. When the doctor came in she was very informative and took the time to explain the procedure that they recommended. When the guy from billing came in to deliver the statement. He explained everything that was on the page and pointed us in the direction of financial help. He also looked like he felt terrible when we admitted that we wouldn’t be able to afford it.Once the doctor came back in, she asked about the procedure, but once we restated it was too expensive. She understood, and did not once make us feel bad. She immediately asked if we wanted to discuss an end of life plan. With tears in my eyes I told her, yes.She was a beckon of calmness for me. Her face was compassionate as she reassured me that “even with the treatment the symptoms will return,” her way of saying this was the best decision for you.She asked if I’d like to be present, I told her yes. She asked if I would like some time to say goodbye. Which they also allowed. They gave us a good 20 minutes to be with him before they even checked on us.During the procedure the doctor was quick, she seemed very compassionate, and she left promptly allowing us time to be with him. When we were ready, I popped my head out of the room and stopped a nurse who I hadn’t even seen.I asked her to have them come when they were ready.Seconds later, the same nurse I stopped walked through the door and said “I didn’t want you to wait around”She was so sweet with my baby and even asked me if I wanted to give him one final kiss.Even before leaving the nurses at the check in station, asked us if we had everything we brought. Reminding us about our keys, and cash and exchanged a final I’m so sorry for your loss. The next day, I received a call from the company who cremated him. The day after that, they delivered him home. They even worked around my schedule for me.Everything turned out as perfect as it could.Today, I received this hand written card in the mail. The staff here is incredibly sweet, and thoughtful.Thank you for making this awful experience good.
May 09 · Sebastian Faleckithis is the hospital I will be at for now on for sure. my baby girl sill was a 6 year old English bulldog, boxer, and pitbull mut who was a diabetic. they gave us fair prices and the staff were extremely comforting to my little angel before and after she crossed.
August 16 · Jaylynn HayesI brought my cat in on a Thursday night because he had lost the use of his back legs. They took my cat in the back very quickly and were able to get me into a room pretty shortly after that. The vet that night was very kind but honest with me and told me that most cats don’t survive. When my cat started moving around and using his legs, the vet was more than willing to have him stay overnight for observation, and I am SO glad he did because my cat came home on Sunday!! All of the vets I spoke with were incredibly knowledgeable, and very nice to me when I was crying. The vet techs were soo friendly and were able to answer almost every question I had (and I had a lot!) and everyone working the front desk always greeted me with a smile and never seemed to mind that it was not even close to the first time they had seen me that day. Everyone was very patient with me while answering all of my questions (and I had quite a lot) and fears. Alphie and I HIGHLY recommend Wilson’s!!!
