I originally took our cats to Banfield Pet Hospital. My cats developed terrible anxiety from going to a vet with dogs. I decided to try All Cats Care Center despite the questionable reviews. Dr Peggy and her staff are amazing. They truly care about the best interest of your cat. I’ve become a better cat owner because of the staff and Dr Peggy. We even had one of our cats become extremely ill and she had to stay at ACCC for a week. They were so great with her and called me everyday with updates on her. Most recently, we adopted a kitten. He has grown to love the vet because of the care at ACCC.I’ll never take my cats anywhere else. - Amanda Popen

Features / Highlights

All Cats Care Center stands out due to several distinctive features and highlights that make it a premier choice for feline veterinary care in the New York area.

  • Feline-Exclusive Environment: This is arguably their most significant highlight. By exclusively seeing cats, the clinic provides a tranquil, dog-free atmosphere. This is crucial for reducing anxiety in cats, as many felines become highly stressed by the presence, sounds, and smells of dogs. Clients specifically mention this as a reason for choosing ACCC, noting how their cats, even anxious ones, have become comfortable or even "love the vet."
  • Highly Compassionate and Caring Staff: Dr. Peggy and her entire team receive consistent praise for being "amazing," "incredibly kind and friendly," and genuinely caring about "the best interest of your cat." This translates into a positive experience for both pets and owners, fostering trust and peace of mind.
  • Knowledgeable and Thorough Care: Clients describe the staff as "very knowledgeable and thorough." This ensures that diagnoses are accurate and treatments are effective, leading to better health outcomes for the cats. The example of Dr. Peggy's guidance making an owner a "better cat owner" speaks to their educational approach.
  • Excellent Communication and Updates: For cats requiring extended stays, like the one who stayed for a week, the daily updates provided were "so great." This proactive communication keeps owners informed and reassured during stressful times.
  • Stress-Reducing Environment: The fact that they "have other kitties roaming around" (presumably in controlled, safe areas) contributes to a more natural and less intimidating environment for visiting cats, further reducing anxiety. The emphasis on watching the doors also highlights their awareness of feline behavior and safety.
  • Building Positive Associations with Vet Visits: For kittens, starting their veterinary journey in a calm, cat-only environment helps them develop positive associations, as evidenced by the kitten who "has grown to love the vet."
