All Tails Vet Jonesborough Reviews
I don’t know how to feel about the Jonesboro location specifically. I took 2 of my cats to get neutered, which went fine. They called me to tell me that my inside only cats (we have no other pets) had some fleas. I check them often and up until being at the vet clinic they did not have any fleas. When I picked the boys up they stated that everything went great, however when we got home I noticed blood on one of their back paws where they had clipped his claws. They said nothing about cutting his claw to the quick. I don’t know how I feel about the fact that they could mention fleas that they didn’t have before we left home, but couldn’t say anything about cutting his claw to the quick. The Johnson City location has been great so far, but I really don’t know how I feel about the Jonesboro location.
Apr 11, 2025 · Alexandria WrightFrom start to finish this was a weird and unpleasant experience. I’ll start with saying that I KNOW I ask a lot of questions, but my dog is my life, and I’m his only advocate. Every other clinic we’ve been to has welcomed all my questions and concerns. But the vet assistant talked to me like I was a child, even after saying that I’m a vet assistant myself, the entire time. Kept telling me they recommended I do blood work after I already told them multiple times to do blood work. Then they bring him back after blood work with blood on his foot, and says his leg is a little swollen because he has bad veins. I asked if they always take from the leg, because it’s customary to draw blood from the neck. She said yes, he was painful when they lifted his neck, so they took from his leg. Explained that with patients who have arthritis they draw from the leg… he’s got arthritis IN HIS LEGS/HIPS so why would you want to stress that leg and draw blood from it (considering you have to extend the leg and hold off to draw blood). And on top of that, if it’s painful for him to lift his head (it’s not, we do it all the time and he’s fantastic with getting bloodwork - his other vet allows me to restrain him while they draw) WHY WOULD THAT NOT BE CAUSE FOR CONCERN AND SOMETHING YOU SHOULD BRING UP OR LOOK FURTHER INTO???I was unsettled by them taking him back to the treatment area for his exam, as every other vet has done the exam in front of me. I even muzzle them myself for doctor’s safety. Everything about this clinic told me to run in the opposite direction. To top it all off, when I asked for a tour of their treatment area, which 3 other wonderful clinics in the area have given me of theirs, the assistant lied and said it was an OSHA violation. Lol guess they should read up on what OSHA actually polices, because owners seeing the treatment area is not part of their concern 😂 it gave me shady vibes, especially considering how open and up front the other clinics have been. It’s unfortunate because I did enjoy the doctor and the front desk staff.Overall, as someone who has worked in the field, I wouldn’t leave my animal here when there are so many other much better options.
Apr 01, 2025 · Sierra MeccarielloI don't have anything bad to say about the Vet or the Vet Assistant at the Jonesborough location. I do, however, need to say that the lady at the front desk, I think her name is Miryiah, needs to work on her client service skills. She was very rude and acted like I was wasting her time.
Jun 18, 2025 · Crystal CookI don't like any vet office taking my furbaby out of my sight. To examine the dog. And I never saw the vet. My furbaby is a rescue, still has abandonment issues, and he was visibly shaking and scared.
Mar 27, 2025 · Goat Granny SheltonThis place was amazing!! I have two rescue cats, but never had a three day old newborn kitten. My son found an abandoned kitten in the middle of the road in the pouring down rain. We brought her to all tails vet to get her a little check up since she started having some diarrhea bouts. The people there were so so so nice!! They were able to let us know that our little girl was doing fine! They also reassured us that the techniques were doing were correct. Their pricing is transparent, and extremely reasonable!! We will without a doubt be seeing them again in six weeks for our little ones boosters!! I cant say enough about the wonderful experience we had! THANK YOU All Tails Vet in jonesborough!!
