Mar 21, 2025 · April Anna NaveI drove all the way from North Carolina hour and a 1/2 5 minutes late barely. Well, let's see if we can still see you.Second, thanks. Okay, but you'll have to wait. Third thing first time visit for the exam. And one shot. A 140 bucks didn't even bother to tell me anything about the skin disorder.Whether it's a yeast infection, a fungus, Bacteria allergy or even something better to feed himDoctor looked at it one time said it's cancer. We have to cut it out. They printed out the bill (140). Along with the estimate fourteen hundred dollars provided , there are no complications... Several other veterinarians stated that I don't see how they can say it was cancer without a test. They didn't even offer test for the skin allergy. They didn't offer tests for anything. About what might be causing the problem. My final thoughts, old guy. dogs old. easy money ! We'll never see him again.Get the cash. Say Goodbye. No point in wasting our time. Judging a book by its cover. Yes, I am old. I needed a shave. I was exhausted. I have 2 broken down cars.I had to hire someone else to drive me and I'm trying to. Spend every dime I have.On my animal to keep him alive
Aug 05, 2024 · Joe CampbellI went there this morning to help my dad bring our dog in for surgery. I was the first one to walk in and a lady with short blonde hair with glasses was at the desk and explained to me instructions about paperwork. When talking to her she was not friendly and had disappointment on her face as if she did not want to be there. My dad walked in shortly after this interaction and needed her to elaborate about the medications since we do not have much knowledge on what would be necessary for the procedure. When interacting with my dad she was rude and complained to him that she already explained to me the paperwork. She was inpatient with my dad’s questions and had a negative tone. Even if she had explained it to me once it wouldn’t hurt to explain it again to provide a customer more information. My dad made a comment about her rude feedback indicating that she was creating a hostile environment. After calling her out about her poor customer service skills another employee jumped in to help explain the paperwork. This employee was helpful until she told us to stop discussing the lack of customer service that the other employee had. She never apologized for her co-workers lack of skill. I would give these ladies a zero if possible for the lack of customer service skills and am concerned how these poor attitudes and work environment may affect pet care.
May 22, 2025 · Kevin WatsonThe reason I’m giving Even 3 stars is because the women at the front desk are sweet & kind. This place has always been highly talked about in my area in NC, and people, as I did, often make the 2 hour drive to get their dog adorable, good care. With that being said, I’m not sure if this place has changed vets, management, etc, but this place no longer offers affordable or efficient care. This is now your basic money - grab place. They said my one year old lab needed to be sedated for $900 to get a clear x ray and shut down the option of letting me hold up with an apron on, faster than I could ask the question.Sedation… because he wouldn’t lay on his back. Then they told me I still needed to pay for x rays even though they didn’t get a clear picture. One was clear, after I asked them to email me the x rays, they magically cut the price in half, because the second picture wasn’t clear. Again- money grab.Another thing many other reviews mention is the lack of compassion. 1000% agree. Everyone who is there is getting toenails trimmed, food, etc. this place is not a place for a genuinely ill animal. My little guy was just throwing up, they saw an upset young girl who would do anything to help her pup, and said let’s make some money. The actual vet is too busy to care, and sends the young assistants to do EVERYTHING.While I was in line to pay- I literally called a vet closer to home, he gave me some free nausea pills, and my baby was better in less than 12 hours. This place may be good to trim nails, but if your dog is sick, ( even if it’s something small like throwing up) you’re not going to leave without spending thousands. When you could spend next to nothing somewhere else.!
May 20, 2025 · Lindsey HutchinsonThe first vet in 5 years that they truly inspected our dog and quickly noticed her lashing out of fear. they worked very well with her. Had further recommendations of help with her anxiety. This place genuinely cares about your animal but the way Robinsons were rough with her after surgery and pet smart doctor chose to work with his dogs will we waited. She then was taken in a room for under 2 minutes and they said they had done her full exam. Then refused to give her shots (while musseled) said she tried to bit him and I noticed it was after 5 and he just wanted to take his dogs home. How can you bit in a mussel?? Shame but try jonesborough Animal Hospital we love you and so does Addie
