Animal Emergency Service Reviews
Such a clean and spectacular animal hospital. No one ever wants to have to go to the vet for an emergency, but the staff makes it such a wonderful experience. Everyone was understanding with bear not being able to be around other dogs, (That consideration is so important to me) and provided safe handling and space for him. He received a thorough examination and I felt was treated appropriately. The doctor provided options and we discussed them all, and I felt confident in his care. They even reached out to me the next day to see how he was doing.
Jul 01, 2025 · Emily ButtnerI want to thank you for the care you provided for Winston. I am so thankful he was taken of care very well. Everyone was very professional and explained what his care was going to be overnight. This is a picture of him when I brought him home resting very peacefully. Winston had a heat stroke it was horrible to see your dog good through. I am so great fully that is recovering very well.
Jun 28, 2025 · Patricia TheriaultSo my dog had swelling on the right side of his face from his nose to his eye. I was very concerned because I had never seen anything like that before. Since it was later in the evening I went to Animal Emergency Services because they are located really close to my home and they are open 24 hours a day. I walked in and explained to the ladies at the front desk what the issue was and “Buddy” went straight to the back immediately to be looked at by a Veterinarian. I knew right away that we were both in good hands because “Buddy” got the caring treatment and medication that he needed, and I was kept up to date with information on what was going on the entire time. They didn’t try to force me to do anything unnecessarily or without my consent. I highly recommend Animal Emergency Services and will definitely recommend them to my family and friends in the future. Thank you to everyone who helped “Buddy” on his road to recovery!!!
Mar 11, 2025 · Jim McBrideBrought my girl in after she had a seizure. Everyone was wonderful. The doctor was kind and explained everything thoroughly and allowed me time to make decisions and ask more questions. The techs let me see where she would spend the night and made her cage comfy for her, which made me feel better about leaving her overnight. They sent me pics late in the evening to assure me she was doing well, received updates after her tests, and again first thing in the morning. When I picked her up Michele was thorough in explaining again, everything they did, what to expect, and how to follow up. I am very satisfied with the care they gave my girl. I only gave them 4 stars because of how pricey every thing is. Made me sad to think of people who truly don't have that kind of $ to pay. Despite the cost, the great care taken with my girl was worth it.
Mar 25, 2025 · LoriLong overdue review for an experience I had in early 2023. It was ~3:00am when my 18y cat began to show signs of being obstipated - he was straining so hard and distressed by it I was worried he would have a heart attack. While euthanasia was brought up I never felt pressured. He had always been a spicy boy - even when he wasn’t feeling well - but was surprisingly amiable with their staff. They kept me informed, brought him out to visit me (even after he was a little poopy from his enema) and overall the experience is one that has stuck with me. I know this place can be hit or miss for some people… but my Tangles was a very old man with several serious issues going on and they made a terrifying situation bearable and gave me a few more weeks with him, for which I will always be immensely grateful.
