Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
The vets and nurses have always been very kind and professional, but the front desk personnel were unpleasant to deal with. The girl working at the front desk this morning (6/21), Bayleigh, needs a cup of coffee and a better attitude. She asked for the type of food my pet eats and because I did not have that information ready, she stared me down like I was an inconvenience. It took me less than a minute to pull up my pet's information from Chewy and when I told her I had the information, she dismissed me saying that she didn't need the information anymore...then why be so passive aggressive for something you didn't need in the first place? And while I was looking up the information, my husband was trying to help answer the rest of her questions and she rolled her eyes at him when he told her exactly how much food our pet feeder distributes. Her question was how much food our pet eats, and he told her exactly, so there was no need for the eyeroll OR for her to question him with "are you SURE?" She really looked down on us and did not have any empathy or professionalism for working a customer-facing job like the front desk. There's definitely no need for her to be so rude or unforgiving. Also, she was the same girl I called to confirm my appointment for the second time (because they apparently forgot to mark it as confirmed the first time I called a few days earlier). It was clear that she does not know their policy because I told her I had already confirmed my appointment days ago, and she said that Banfield calls multiple times to confirm the same appointment. But when I spoke to Holly, she said that they don't call multiple times and that the front desk forgot to confirm it for me earlier. Not sure which part is true but seems like everyone working the front desk needs some extra training for administrative and social skills.
Jun 21, 2025 · EurikaSwitched to Banfield once my Rocky got older and I do feel I’m saving some money with the Optimum Wellness Plan. Only wish it included nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning at least once a year as a part of his comprehensive exam. Also wish drop off and pickup were more flexible for working dog parents. But otherwise, good to use for preventative care especially for older dogs.
Jun 11, 2025 · A. Simone FieldsGreat staff that is accommodating and kind to animals! My dogs are both anxious and both Vets and all the vet techs have been very kind and helpful with dealing with my dogs who have anxiety over vet visits. Thank you to everyone that works at this location! You all are amazing.
Feb 28, 2025 · Alexandra LewisI need to RAVE about this vet. I’ve been taking my dog, Sassy, to Banfield for 8 years and several locations. Every time I’ve taken her she gets so anxious and scared that I can’t have her be a drop off. I just started going to this location recently and I am just so overly happy with them. I have thanked them each time I have been there because they CARE and are ATTENTIVE. Sassy has absolutely loved the staff, techs and Dr. Paneitz & Dr. Hirsch. She even gave Dr. Hirsch a kiss and she has never done that with any vet… I absolutely love this location and cannot express how much I am appreciative of their staff.
Jan 03, 2025 · Lily Rios-BradyYesterday I had to take my elderly dog into Banfield to be euthanized. I want to commend the entire team for how they welcomed us and helped us through a painful process. From the check-in clerk to the vet and technician, everyone was very compassionate, and the vet and technician were gentle and caring toward my dog. We really appreciated it.
