Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
We usually go to Conshohocken, but we weren't able to get in for an urgent matter there, so we called here. They fit us in and have been very accommodating. Dr Miller is very sweet and caring! 😊 thanx
May 06, 2025 · Michele TorresI have two dogs that were enrolled in their Wellness plan. The only positive I can say is that the plans itself are pretty cost efficient. Everything else is a disaster. They refused to let me in the room with my dog as they brought him back for an examination and also refused to get the Vet to answer questions I had. They said they would ask the vet and then let me know and they forgot some of the questions and had to run into the back 3 times to ask everything. Some people are friendly, most are not. One person saw my dog, got scared (he’s a lab) and then tried to give it a treat and said “here you go fatty” (the dog is slightly underweight). These are pretty major things, but there were two instances where I felt they were just awful:1) My dog came in for a urinary issue and they diagnosed him with something without doing a urinalysis and gave him medication. Thankfully, I had little trust in them and brought my dog to a different vet who did a urinalysis and said the initial diagnosis was in no way accurate as my dog did not display the usual signs of this diagnosis. They didn’t care and still gave him medication which is terrifying.2) on a separate occasion, we went to just pick up standard flea, tick, and heartworm medicine and they gave us a box that had not only the wrong medication, but a different customers full information on the box! Home address, name, phone number given without their consent. So now on two occasions where they had given my dog WRONG medication that could do who knows what, I told them I’ve had enough and to cancel the wellness plans. We tried to uphold our end of the bargain, but wrongfully giving out other patients personal information as well as repeatedly incorrectly diagnosing and medicating our dog is them not upholding their end of the deal. They will not cancel.I spoke with the manager and she told me the most she could do is one month free for the same terrible experience. She then gave me corporates number for an appeal. It had been months now of fighting them and always being escalated and nothing is done. They say they will call you back and do not.PLEASE do NOT subject your pet to this negligence!
Jul 23, 2024 · AdamService has gone done dramatically here. Wait times are now 30+ mins for both dropping off and picking up. The doctors are still good but they desperately need more staff.
Jan 03, 2025 · DSUpdate: While they were great for preventative care, once you pet gets older or has an actual medical issue they're no good and I had to take my dog to a vet that specializes in older animals. The real problem comes when you try to cancel the membership. While trying to diagnose my dog, the second appointment was after the renewal date and when I said I was leaving to go to the more specialized vet for the issue I was told I'm still contractually obligated to pay for the full year even though due to the diagnosis he can't use most of the services that are included in the membership and it was less than a month into the renewal.---Switched to Banfield after learning how expensive a dental cleaning was at the old vet. When you add up a year's "membership" it's cheaper than just the dental but includes more. The people at KOP are very friendly and genuinely care about the animals.
Oct 15, 2022 · Cori FredeThe staff here is even better now than it was when we first started coming a few years back. The wellness plan subscription has met my dog's needs since day 1 and the first visit was free. Even with the COVID-19 restrictions, they work hard to make my dog feel as comfortable as possible during her visits.
