The team's caring and compassionate nature is also a major feature, as highlighted by client reviews. One client noted that the staff "take care of your pet like it was their own," which speaks volumes about the empathy and dedication of the veterinary team. They are often praised for their willingness to be patient with pets who may be fearful or aggressive. While one review did point out a critical oversight regarding international travel documentation, which led to a stressful situation for the pet owner, another client from a different Banfield location praised the team for their efficiency in a similar situation, showing the commitment of the broader Banfield network to helping clients in difficult circumstances. This highlights the importance of open communication and planning ahead.

Banfield the Pet Hospital: Backus Angela DVM Reviews
They're normally super awesome and have been for the past 4 months but this one time when it was absolutely critical they caused so many headaches. I booked a vet to prepare my dog for international travel and I made an appointment two weeks ahead of time. The destination country said the documents can't be more than 10 days old. So when I arrived to my appointment they make me wait 30 minutes then tell me there is no such usda certified vet who works there anymore. You could've told me that when I called and asked if you had a usda certified vet. I had to call 7 other places during the holidays to cram this in. Thankfully Banfield Largo made an appointment with me later that day. I could've lost $800 on a flight i couldn't use due to this important oversight. All I got was an oops and a sorry. No offer to fix the problem. No compensation.
