Bay Animal Hospital Reviews
Rough time in pet ownership. Had my old man Bow Hunter put to rest they were so caring and compassionate made a really rough decision a lot easier to handle
Feb 07, 2025 · Denise LarimoreI just want to thank Dr. Mauro and the rest of the team for taking phenomenal care of my 15 year old Missy, both during her illness and the end-of-life care. I lost her on 8/9/23 and just got around to posting this but I am so grateful to everyone there. It’s a great place. Thank you Bay Animal Hospital
Feb 29, 2024 · Lola PérezWe take all our pets here and have been extremely satisfied. I recently had to make the very difficult decision of saying good bye to my 18 year old cat, Andy. From the moment I made the appointment, to the day of departure, the entire team was kind, compassionate, and understanding. I recently received a sympathy card for Andy. This was not just a generic card. Every team member signed it, and even mentioned Andy by name. This warmed my ❤️.Thank you!!
Jan 31, 2025 · Janice PowersI had to bring my cat Olly on Friday to the vet in Townsend. I don’t know how to start but my cat was sick in June and had the same symptoms now again. I explained the vet how Olly was in June and how his symptoms are now the same. The vet was very kind and took the time to listen to me and to give my cat the same treatment like he received in June (btw we went to a different vet in June). The staff is very nice and takes their time for their furry patients what I liked a lot. The vet tech we had was so friendly too and gave me advises for my cat and answered all my questions. I felt like my cat got the best care at this vet office and I will bring my pets from now on always to that facility. The front desk was also very friendly and kind.Long story short. My cat wasn’t eating/ drinking or doing anything for a few days. We went to the vet on Friday. Olly got an infusion for his dehydration and other medication and today (Sunday) he’s all the same again❤️ he’s drinking, cuddling, eating and even playing again. I am so happy he’s doing better and I’m so thankful for the great staff we got to meet on Friday 🐈
Oct 23, 2023 · Melanie McClellanDo not use this practice if you have other options. It is a money grabbing arrangement, the doctors and owners are heartless and refuse to discuss options with you. I have not even been offered a consult with Dr Swain. The office looks and sounds cold and miserable.I brought my dog in with prolonged coughing, and she was struggling to breathe. I was put through the wringer for tests and medications that could otherwise have been prescribed through an online store or pharmacy. The treatment itself is more expensive than my own pills. I cannot afford to have a pet put through their battery of expensive protocols. When I later objected to the need for more tests and follow up visits (they raise the price of a visit by 45% between appointments) and I explained that I can’t afford the visit AND the meds, their answer was to drop my dog as a patient.I am forced to choose between caring for a family pet or paying the utilities. They claim to care about and treat the pets but view the owners as ATMs.I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM.
