★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The staff and doctors are very caring and straight forward with diagnosis and pricing! Although it may be expensive you get what you’re paying for in the expertise and professionalism. Doctor probably called me at home over 4 times with updates and detailed explanations of my dog’s issues! That’s my 10 year old Weimaraner in the back where they treat the dogs. They let me come in and visit her during the procedures.
August 27 · Kevin OwensWhen our veterinarian recommended a consultation with a neurologist due to our pet’s seizures and possible underlying issues, we were overwhelmed with fear and uncertainty. In our search for specialized care, we discovered BluePearl Pet Hospital and made an initial call. From the first conversation with Enrique, we felt at ease—he was exceptionally kind, compassionate, and informative, which gave us the confidence to move forward with an appointment.BluePearl also offers an emergency option for neurology cases that require urgent attention, which is a great reassurance for pet owners in distress. On the day of our appointment, the entire team was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Dr. Morrell exceeded all expectations. She took the time to explain every detail clearly and patiently, and even when the MRI results brought difficult news, she remained empathetic and professional. Her guidance through our options and what to expect moving forward was incredibly helpful and comforting. In just one visit, we gained more understanding than we had in months. I wholeheartedly recommend BluePearl Pet Hospital for anyone whose pet is experiencing seizures or neurological concerns. You and your pet will be in compassionate and capable hands.
June 20 · Dan ComptonWhen we dropped our dog off at 11:45 AM on Monday, we were told by their staff that she was an emergency because her problem was a breathing issue. She was to be fully drained of fluid in her lungs (once) and then monitored overnight and to go home by 8am the next morning. We heard nothing from the time we dropped her off until 11:45 PM when we finally got a call from the Dr with an update. She said they drained a lot of fluid but not all because "they ran out of time". I didn't realize emergency dogs were on time limits. She said they would drain her fluid again during the night and that we were to call at 7 AM and pick up could be as early at 7:30/8AM. Great! We called at 7 AM and spoke to the overnight Dr who sounded like she hadn't even laid a hand on our dog at all. She said she didn't have time to drain our dog again but that the daytime Dr who was there now would drain her at 8 AM or 9 AM and we could probably take her home at 11 AM. We receive a call at 10:43 AM from the daytime Dr asking us if we still wanted her drained or if we wanted to pick her up. I said we wanted her drained (that's what we already paid for) and that's what we had already told the Dr when we called at 7 AM. He said he'd do it "soon" and we'd be able to pick her up around 2 hopefully. 2 rolls around and we haven't heard a single thing. We call for an update and are unable to speak to the Dr because "he's busy treating other patients" but will "call us back" and the front desk staff tells us they've had a lot of other emergencies come in but they'll get to our dog soon and she should be able to go home soon. 4:00 rolls around and we hear absolutely nothing. No call back from the Dr either. We call again for an update and are again told the Dr is "busy treating other patients" and that they've "had a lot of other emergencies come in but your dog is stable and not critical enough to be hospitalized so she's OK and the Dr will get to her soon." This time I got frustrated on the phone. They told us initially it would be one draining and she'd go home Tuesday morning, then told us Tuesday by 8 AM, then 10 AM, then 2 PM, and now at 4 they still hadn't gotten to her. They also told us earlier in the day she had been refusing to eat and she was anxious so they gave her anxiety medicine. At this point she hadn't eaten since Sunday night (two days now) and I brought up my concern for that and was again told "she's stable and not severe enough to be hospitalized." I asked the front desk staff if in 2 hours she hasn't been treated could we come see her. He said "I don't see why not but we'd have to evaluate at that time." By 5:15 PM my husband decided to drive up there and pick her up to take her to a different ER if she still hadn't been treated. While he was in the way, the Dr finally called me at 5:20 PM (first hearing from the Dr since 10:45 AM!) he said they drained her and she was ready to go home. He thanked me for my patience and said they had a lot of emergencies come in and it was a crazy day, in no part our dogs fault but he was sorry. It took 45 minutes for my husband to check out and be able to leave with our dog. By the time we picked her up at 6 PM Tuesday was so drugged on anxiety meds that she could hardly walk and didn't know where she was or recognize us.she had dried pee all over her back legs and was so so thirsty, dehydrated, and hungry. This place IS an emergency clinic. Don't blame "emergencies" for delaying my dogs emergency when that is the job of this facility! If you couldn't get to her, we should've been told that up front snd not led on each call. We would've taken her home and waited at home then. They Even went as far to say she wasn't severe enough to be hospitalized - So when we dropped her off they said she was an emergency, but hours later she's suddenly not an emergency to them anymore? We also paid $5671 for her treatment up front. While we received a (deserved) refund, with the amount of money we forked out, we shouldn't have been treated like this. She now has a bladder infection. We will never go back there.
June 19 · Victoria TroutCould not be happier with everyone that we came in contact with at Blue Pearl. Everyone was very professional as well as compassionate. The surgery outcome was better than we could have dreamed. We definitely recommend Blue PearlAnd it’s just several weeks later and she’s doing awesome!!!!!
May 21 · John MooreWe received the best care ever. My dog ended up being hospitalized and the staff was amazing. I could call and check up on her at anytime and they also sent me a pic and that really eased my mind.
