★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Benfield Hospital has been amazing with my husky ever since he was just two months old. The staff truly care, and every visit has been a positive experience. Their customer service is excellent, always kind and attentive, and they make sure my pet feels comfortable and well taken care of. I couldn’t ask for a better place to trust with my husky’s health! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring and professional veterinary team.
August 19 · Rafael LunaThe timber Valley location is so amazing. I had my brother's puppy get sick and they took her in last second to help her! They are so caring and loving to my babies! Dr. Kim called and has figured our what is wrong with the pup and she is being treated. They have had her in and out both times which I love knowing that she's not just kenneled up and scared. Mae at the front desk has been so helpful and calls to check up on my pup and another sweetheart at the front desk gave me ER vet info incase I ever need help after hours. And she said she was going to have my puppy in her prayers ❤🥰. My other pups with be going here from now on. I highly recommend this location. Best experience with a vet clinic I have ever ever ever had. Thank you to your whole team! God bless you guys 😇
April 29 · Ashlee LichtblauMy most recent updated review!I'm going to go ahead and keep my old reviews because theres history and I think it's good to have. But let me update my review because they deserve more than 2 stars like how I had it.All the staff here have been tremendously kind and caring. My little dog Cherry passed away last year and I called them to cancel wellness plan and they sent me a condolence card with messages. It was so heart-felt and I appreciated it so much on so many level. My big dog Lando still goes there for the wellness plan checkups and they all love him and seems to care so much. Seems like doctors do switch around so I never know names but there are staffs there that's been there for a long time and remembers dogs name and I think that means a lot. Around 2019 ish, I didn't have a good feeling with a doctor that was there after Dr Grey left but lately all the doctors I've seen since have been taking good care of Lando. So thanks always TIMBER VALLEY staffs!I'm not gonna lie by saying I do miss the days when Dr Grey was there tho. LolMy review right after Dr Grey sold the practice to Banfield and left. (I originally gave it a 2 stars review about 2 years ago.)It is not the same anymore without him there. The nurses that are still there from when Dr Grey was there is always nice but the quality and the careness is no longer there from the doctors. It's like PetSmart all over again. I will be searching for Dr Grey on the web and hope to find him because my dogs needs him.Below is my old review when Dr Grey used to own the place over 2, 3 yrs ago (5 stars!)Friendly and trusting place. I have been going here for about 5 yrs now. I keep moving further away but I'd rather drive to a trusting Vet than go somewhere else. Both Cherry and Lando couldn't ask for a better doctor as Dr Grey and environment! Thanks always!
March 10 · Jamie MHorrific!! I gave better pet care at home. These people have now wasted time on emergency situations that have severely caused my two animals to suffer. One of my dogs passed away several years ago from their negligent practices, but I thought I would give another Banfield office a try at this Lewisville location. Even worse! They had my pet for HOURS and didn't start the much needed fluids right away which was what they told me he would receive. All vet history was transferred to them even before I arrived. They also didn't give the emergent iv antibiotics for his aspiration pneumonia. I know the routine on this as my dog has had the same health issue several times because he has an underlying condition that causes it. Fluids and antibiotics need to be given immediately and then care can follow at home. They didn't have the correct antibiotic so they sent me a prescription and absolutely noone can fill that particular antibiotic. I finally find one and it will be days to fill. Then the office staff never gave the DVM number to CVS to fill the other prescription so they could never fill it.. Stay away from Banfield vet offices! They killed my friend's dog as well who went in for a simple dental cleaning! He never woke back up and he had a very clean bill of health and perfect heart. Office staff is totally unknowledgable about pertinent things! Wasted VALUBLE time when it came to the worsening outcome of my dog's health. Just saddening all around. I feel the doctor has the skill but no support for that practice, but also, my dog should have had fluids started immediately with a dose of antibiotics iv given within the first 45 minutes. I made sure they could do this before arriving. Truly unacceptable. I should have learned my lesson the first time. While my dog was there having trouble breathing they were wanting to sell an $800 package to me that I had no use for. Like get the fluids and antibiotic in ...stop wasting time! HOURS later..a phone call from the doctor.."so what is wrong with your dog? You need fluids and antibiotics? We don't have the antibiotic he needs"He was prescribed oral Amoxicillan Clavunate in high dose form from other emergency vets in the past to treat this dangerous condition. He already received 2 doses of the oral medication but he desperately needed iv infusion of the med because he was not absorbing it well in his stomach. He needed this same med given iv that moment. For some reason, the doctor didn't want to give it even though its what has helped him 4 times in the past when I go to emergency vets. Honest to God, I'm getting more and more furious as I remember this negligence all around. I hope the animals that end up here are met with different outcomes.
January 16 · McKenna AanonliWe have ins. On our service dog and ins Thur Banfield and her ins is coming up for renewal in August so they called and ask me about doing a urine test and x-ray on her and I told them NO she didn't need it I just need her recheck on her foot that I brought her in for. But they took it on themself to do the urine test and x-ray just to use up her insurance so now if she should need those services we will need to pay for them. I will be looking for a new Vet and ins. for all 3 of our fur babies.
