★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1medvet has been extraordinary for every visit my animals and myself have made. the last five months we had to let go of two of our elderly cats, and both visits the staff went above and beyond for us. their compassion was unwavering and i feel very grateful that my cat(s) were sent off with dignity! for the last boy, they even made him a little charcuterie board :) he had a nice full belly as he passed on, just the way he would’ve wanted it.thank you, medvet & staff! highly recommend this place.
March 09 · leah hasselbergerThey were amazing and sympathetic. Given the situation, I did not feel judged as a dog mom! They were very thorough and loved my little guy awhile he went through a difficult time. So thank you!
January 04 · Laura CuzzettoI haven’t been here yet but just by reading the comments about how they treat cats vs dogs. I’m straight. I’ll try to figure out why my 7 years old cat Siré keeps throwing up. The natural way. I believe he ate a string he was playing with. If any suggestions on another play for cats parents please let me know smh. I was just on my way to
May 02 · Princess Promise Aka FocusRemeExcellent service for my Doxie Willie. It took a while for him to be seen, but was told about the wait. Totally understand the whole triage thing. He was treated and released a few hours later. I trust that my canine companions will be treated well at the Chicago Veterinary Emergency Room.
August 06 · Joe MajkaBrought my dog, Little Brother, after he ate some raisins. They were so kind and helpful! We were seen super fast and everything was explained thoroughly. They got those raisins out and checked his vitals and suggested I come back the next day to ensure kidney functions was still looking good. We came back the next day and everyone remembered Little Brother! It was great - they took him in right away to get his blood drawn, and offered to have the vet call so I didn’t have to wait an hour in the waiting room. They called and said everything looked good! It was pretty stressful, but the staff made me feel at ease and took good care of LB!
