- 24/7 Availability: The constant, round-the-clock access to emergency and critical care is the most significant feature. This provides an invaluable safety net for pet owners, ensuring that a professional is always available to handle a crisis, from sudden trauma to poison ingestion or a severe allergic reaction.

- Unmatched Compassion: Customer reviews consistently praise the staff for their empathy and kindness, especially during difficult and emotional times. The stories of Dr. Alisha Fulton and Yesenia Obispo, who went above and beyond for a beloved senior cat, and the entire team who saved a kitten with FIP, are powerful testaments to the genuine care and support provided to both pets and their families. This level of emotional support is just as important as the medical care itself.
- Advanced Technology: The hospital's investment in advanced diagnostics, such as CT scans and interventional radiology, allows for precise and timely diagnoses that might not be possible at a general vet clinic.
- Dignified Care: The staff’s attention to detail and ability to provide dignity and comfort in a pet’s final moments, as mentioned by a grateful pet owner, is a profound feature of their service.
- Accessibility and Planning: The facility is fully wheelchair accessible, and while emergencies are always a priority, the recommendation for appointments for specialty services helps manage wait times and ensures dedicated attention.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We are forever grateful to the compassionate team at MedVet ER Animal Hospital for the extraordinary care they gave our beloved pet cat(, Wayo, who was 18 years old. In one of the most difficult and emotional times of our lives, they provided not only expert medical care, but also unmatched empathy and kindness.Wayo had been sick since 3 weeks and stopped drinking, was barely eating, and began bleeding from her nose and mouth. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated her with gentle hands and caring hearts. The attending doctor Dr.Alisha Fulton was incredibly kind and compassionate—she took the time to walk us through every test and treatment, and gave us a clear, honest understanding of Wayo’s condition. There was no rush, no pressure—just sincere concern for both our pet and our family.Dr.Alisha went above and beyond, not only as a medical professional but as a fellow animal lover who understood the depth of our bond with Wayo. She allowed us all the time we needed to process everything and to be with our sweet girl during her final moments. Her empathy and gentle demeanor made an unbearable moment a little more bearable. The nurse tech Yesenia Obispo who assisted was also incredibly gentle and handled Wayo with the utmost care, as if she were their own. Every part of our experience was filled with compassion, grace, and respect.Losing Wayo was one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through, but we take comfort in knowing she was surrounded by love and kindness until the very end. Thank you, Dr.Alisha Fulton & Yesenia Obispo (MedVet), for being there for us and for treating Wayo—and us—with such tenderness and dignity. Your compassion will never be forgotten.
April 09 · Mohammad KhanMy kitten was suspected to have FIP and was sent to this location for hospitalization due to fluid in his abdomen and severe anemia. I was overwhelmed and had no idea what to do—but this place truly saved his life. The level of care, attention, and love they showed, not just to my kitten but to all the animals, was incredible. I was able to spend time with him during visits, and every staff member I met was kind, patient, and supportive.A special thank you to Dr. Emma-Leigh Pearson, Dr. Jess Eisenbarth, Dr. Billy Blumberg, all vet techs / nurses and Alex from Billing—I wish I knew everyone’s name so I could thank them all personally. Casimiro is now recovering and doing great. I’m beyond grateful for everything you’ve done!
July 18 · Joanna PrusinskaDr. Grabar and the team at MedVet took great care of my little pup! Everyone from the receptionists to the vets were warm and compassionate in their care. The waiting room is comfortable with plenty of space for all patients and families. They were communicative about what my dog was experiencing, how to best care for him, and they continued to answer the many follow up questions I had after discharge. They were transparent about pricing and took care of my Huey as if he were their own pet. I am grateful to have an emergency practice I can trust and will recommend to everyone I know who needs an emergency vet practice.
April 19 · Mia YamamotoMy ‘Sally’ has been treated at MedVet for three years of aggressive cancer. The quality and care of the entire team is amazing. From Casey checking us in to Dr Portela’s continuing care has kept Sally with me far longer than I hoped for.
July 06 · Ron GouldWe brought our cat here and these people are amazing. They’re so compassionate and kind. It’s pricey but if you can swing it I highly recommend for any emergency or euthanasia services.
