Chittenango Animal Hospital Reviews
I will never take my cat there.. I called for apt for cat They wouldn't have appt til April, poor cats in pain with gum infection. I had elderly neighbor passed who had feral dropped off cats One came my house, I took it in, took her for vaccinations to clinic in Rome, Pet Mart. We discovered she has bad gum infection, so needs Vet to get her antibiotics. Cat seems docile, she is eating well, but has to be in pain. Not one Vet I called can see her today.. Adirondack Vet isnt in today, Delta Lake not accepting new pets, Wonderful Chittenango Vet that gets sooo many rave reviews won't help til April ???? Im disraught to think NOT ONE BUSINESS I CALLED cares cat is in pain, would prescribe anything for pain, antibiotic, or even see poor cat..Sooo---- whoever says Chittenango is great. My experience with them caring this cats needing immediate treatment they don't care cats in pain. Apparently money is bottom line in my opinion.....
Mar 28, 2025 · Brenda HendrickMy visit was on Friday, August 25, 2023. During my visit, the staff was friendly and professional. They helped explain things in detail and offered options for flea prevention treatments for my cat.The vet, Dr. Carter was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. My cat was well taken care of at the location during his routine follow-up. This was my first appointment with Dr. Carter but my second visit to the office. The appointment date and time were convenient. There was little to no wait for both scheduling the appointment as well as the wait time when I arrived at the office.I would highly recommend the office and will return in the future.
Aug 27, 2023 · Tonya FarberI have been to a few animal hospitals with my pets and this one by FAR tops the cake! The staff is super friendly, it is the most immaculate vets office I’ve been. Taylor did an amazing job with Mia’s nails and she is super kind. And the vet I saw I loved from the beginning as he gives the best hand shake and that tells me a lot about a person. He is so attentive and knowledgeable about animals. Not to mention warm and friendly. The staff that wasn’t busy came to meet Mia which meant a lot. I feel so comfortable taking her there and know they will take great care of her! Thank you Chittenango Animal Hospital. I’m so glad I picked your facility to bring Mia.
Dec 24, 2024 · Denise CronkI absolutely love Chittenango Animal Hospital. The staff is amazing. Dr Carter and Dr Cook always spend time explaining the situation and make sure they’ve answered all my questions and concerns. They never make me feel rushed. Their vet techs are amazing. Taylor, my favorite, is so good with my 2 Rottweilers. She sees Peanut once a month for a nail trim and she’s wonderful with her. She (Peanut) tends to be a bit unruly at times. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. I could not recommend them more. Thank you CAH for taking such great care of my babies!
Oct 09, 2023 · Dianne CooneyWe had to get our cat looked at for a cough she was having. She is as much a part of our family as we are. To be fair, I believe all of the Veterinary Hospitals are overbooked and trying their best to accommodate everyone that needs to be seen. Dr. Carter was very good with our cat. We were very happy to get her in when we did, and the price was extremely reasonable. It only reinforces the fact that they are compassionate about their work. If you care about your pets, this is the place to take them where they will be treated the best and provided the best care available. We appreciate being able to get in and be seen.
