CityPaws Animal Hospital presents a compelling case, particularly due to its commitment to high-quality care and client relationships. A new client's review, in particular, speaks to the positive experience of being seen in a timely manner and finding a "great team" that was attentive and listened. This suggests that while there may be occasional lapses in administrative and communication processes, the core of the medical staff is capable and caring. The long-standing presence of the hospital, founded in 2006, and the fact that it has two locations, indicate a stable and established practice. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I am adding to this review after I saw a wonderful vet at Small Doors. They prescribed gabapentim just like city paws but city paws never told me nor put a sticker on the bottle that it needed to be refrigerated. Small doors was shocked and so was I. Please do not go to City Paws. They have really gone down hill and don’t care and that can be deadly!! I changed my review. I’m now giving you guys one star. Since June 15, I have been trying to get the vet and your office to change his prescription to a solution formula to inject in his ear. I have called you guys. I have emailed you all. I have talked to your staff and no one is doing anything. CVS pharmacist even called the refill in and no one responded. it’s not acceptable. It is June 27. Not acceptable to take two weeks to fix something. my Jackaroe has had this medicine before it’s in his chart in your computer and the fact that it was written incorrectly and it’s taking this long and I still have not heard anything from you guys. So I don’t recommend this place. Guess I gotta find a new vet. Thanks for making my furkid suffer!! Oh and I spent $650 with them and this is what we get! Sad!!!!
August 12 · Pam KellyCan I just say, this is a great team. I moved here last year from California and I was looking for a new vet and I heard great things and was not disappointed! I have 3 cats and I lugged all three of them there for my appointment. It was just a few minutes past my scheduled time that they brought me back, which I understand completely things happen. The Dr. was really attentive and listened to me and the techs were amazing and the front desk was super nice. Very much enjoyed my time here at City Paws Uptown. 😊
August 27 · Darcy LeGardI’ve brought my cat here for years. The vets are great, but the admin is increasingly inept. Nice people at the front desk but somehow everything goes wrong. Incompetent billings is one thing, but when testing is done wrong and/or results are not communicated to specialists, that endangers our pets. I don’t trust them anymore. I would NOT recommend this vet.
December 08 · Elizabeth ArmingtonSuper helpful, understanding and kind staff. Easiest scheduling ever on the online tools! Dr. O Berry was an angel… he was so willing and generous for my first time vaccine and exams with my kittens. I appreciated the lack of judgement with all topics that came up. I will be a happy patron here.
August 22 · Kaitlyn WilsonCityPaws Uptown is actually my pups favorite place to go. She used to be so afraid of going to the vet but now, she runs up to the door and starts pawing at it for me to open it for her! The front desk staff is always so welcoming us and gives my baby a treat every time. I've never met doctors and assistants so involved in my pups lives. They are so compassionate and thoughtful with fur-babies, my pup gets excited just to pick up her monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention!
