Hate to leave a bad review as there are so many good ones, but I need to make sure others are warned.CLT vets handled my 16 year old cat pretty rough. They told me she had suspected, acute kidney disease. They let her jump off the table and face plant, it was hard to watch. I was crying and panicking and not much comfort was given to me. I felt rushed out as they were closing. They charge a lot as well. 3% CC fee on top of it.Not much empathy or help on how much time she truly had left. No check ins to see how she was doing after the visit. They had me pay for food she ended up hating and when I begged to pick up the other kind she enjoyed that was given temporarily after the visit, they said they didn’t have it at the office anymore and I needed to order online with their approval - which took 5 days to come in after not approving for 3 out of those 5 days- I had to remind them to approve. She wasn’t eating and I was extremely concerned. They clearly were not.She ended up passing away before food arrived. I emailed them two days ago letting them know she passed and not a single response was given to me. Not even I’m sorry for your loss, do I need to talk to them for support/comfort, do I need resources to help grieve- absolutely nothing- just flat out ignored. Pretty disgusted by the lack of support from a vet that we are supposed to trust.I’d recommend going elsewhere with more empathetic staff who will check on you and give you the help and resources needed if you have an older pet. It’s worth the drive out of the city. They just are doing a job here and it’s pretty clear you and your pet are just a number. If you’re emotional - they get annoyed. Our pets are our family. Out of all people - you’d expect vets to understand this.Hope y’all do better for the next person and reflect back on this. Sorry again to leave a bad review, but it is truly deserved and Nala deserves justice. You won’t be seeing my dog anymore either.🕊️ RIP Nala girl. You deserved better than this and I’m so sorry it ended this way. - Mandy
