Copper’s Integrative Veterinary Care, LLC focuses on an integrative approach, blending conventional veterinary knowledge with complementary and alternative therapies. Based on available information and customer reviews, their key services include:
Pet Acupuncture: This is a core service, involving the insertion of very thin needles at specific points on the body to stimulate energy pathways (meridians). It is widely used for pain management (especially for conditions like arthritis), improved digestive function, respiratory issues, promoting healing, and addressing skin problems. Customer reviews frequently praise the effectiveness of acupuncture for improving mobility and comfort in pets with arthritis and other chronic conditions.
Chinese Herbal Pet Medicine: Utilizing traditional Chinese veterinary medicine (TCVM), this involves mixtures of compounds from plants and other natural substances. Chinese herbal medicine aims to restore balance and harmony within the pet's body, addressing underlying causes of health issues rather than just symptoms. It can be used for joint and mobility support, skin allergies, digestive health, anxiety, and immune system boosting.
Veterinary Medical Manipulation (Pet Chiropractor Care): A holistic approach to identifying and correcting dysfunction in the vertebrae and joints, aiming to minimize stress and improve musculoskeletal health. This can be beneficial for mobility issues and overall spinal health.
Pet Food Therapy: This service involves using diet as a therapeutic tool to treat and prevent imbalances within the body. It utilizes knowledge of food energetics to tailor specific diets for individual animals, supporting their unique health needs.
Tui-na (Chinese Medical Massage): A form of therapeutic massage that stimulates acupuncture points and meridians, promoting the circulation of "Qi" (life force) and correcting imbalances within the body. It complements acupuncture and herbal medicine in promoting overall well-being and flexibility.
Pet Rehabilitation: Management and improvement of patients with painful or functionally limiting conditions, often through targeted exercises and therapies to restore mobility and strength.
Palliative Care: Focused on alleviating symptoms and improving comfort for pets with chronic or terminal illnesses, ensuring their quality of life is maintained even when a cure is not possible.
In-Home Euthanasia: Providing a compassionate option for pets to spend their final moments in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, surrounded by their loving family.

Holistic Approach to Pet Health: The clinic's philosophy centers on treating the "whole animal," not just symptoms. This means considering diet, lifestyle, and various therapeutic options to achieve optimal wellness, providing a well-rounded and comprehensive care plan for each patient.
Sound Advice and Referrals: Dr. Cubelo is noted for giving "sound advice" and recommending "outside specialists for other ailments," demonstrating a commitment to the pet's best interest, even if it means collaborating with other professionals.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My 10 yo pittie Max has arthritis in his knees. Our family vet suggested meds however his arthritis is in the early stages and I did not feel comfortable going the med route yet so I got on the internet to research some other treats options and this is when I came across coppers integrative care and Dr Cubelo. Max started receiving acupuncture treatments and he absolutely loves them (and the treats afterwards :)) I’ve noticed max is more loose when walking and it may even be helping his chronic allergies because those too have improved within the last month. Dr cubelo is a pleasure too! She’s recommended outside specialists for other aliments max has and given some sound advice for other things. Max is always excited to hen I tell him we are going to see Dr Cubelo. Thank you for the excellent care! Max man loves you
August 31 · YayaPricanWe are thrilled with the care Dr. Cubelo provides for our 12-year-old-dog. He always had digestive issues managed by his regular veterinarian. While we could address the symptoms for a while, he would frequently relapse.Dr. Cubelo’s demeanor impresses me, and my little guy enjoys his appointments. She is so reassuring, both to him and me during his treatment. We wish we had started with her sooner. We realize how much he wasn't feeling like himself. He's now more energetic and happy enjoying his walks – he even has his zoomies back.I would highly recommend!Services Used: Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine
April 07 · teresa linkDr. Cubelo was amazing as she walked us through having to euthanize our 18.5 yr old beagle, Buck. The compassion and care cannot be adequately decribed by words... a blessing during a time of struggle. Thank you.
May 10 · chrys WoodDr Cubelo came to my house in July. It was a traumatic experience for all of us but I am reminiscing and wanted to thank her for the professionalism and absolute care she took during that difficult time in our lives. It is not forgotten. I totally recommend Dr Cubelo if you are in the unfortunate circumstance of having to find a vet for this service.
January 09 · Michelle MundenMy husband and I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Cubelo! She is so wonderful with our oldest shepherd and we look forward to her in home visits! The acupuncture treatments have most definitely helped him! Dr. Cubelo is not only patient with our dog, she is patient with us....she takes the time to answer all of our questions, as well as makes dietary and care suggestions for all three of our shepherds. We highly recommend her and her services!
