Eldon Spay & Neuter Clinic Introduce
For responsible pet owners across the Missouri region, particularly those around the Lake of the Ozarks community, the **Eldon Spay & Neuter Clinic** represents a vital and highly valued resource. This local veterinary care provider specializes in a focused, essential mission: delivering high-quality, affordable spay and neuter surgeries alongside necessary preventative veterinary services. By specializing in these core areas, the clinic directly addresses the challenge of pet overpopulation in the state while making routine, life-saving care accessible to more families.
Unlike full-service animal hospitals that may manage complex diseases or emergency trauma, the Eldon Spay & Neuter Clinic operates as a specialized, high-volume facility. This focus allows them to maximize efficiency, maintain low costs, and dedicate their resources toward ensuring successful, safe, and stress-free preventative procedures. The care is consistently praised for being friendly, professional, and efficient, ensuring that pets—and their owners—experience minimal anxiety. This clinic is not just a business; it is part of a larger community effort to enhance animal welfare across Miller County and surrounding Missouri areas.
The clinic is also known for its strong collaboration with local animal welfare groups, such as Fresh Start Animal Outreach, which provides financial assistance programs, including vouchers, to further reduce the cost for eligible pet owners. This collaborative model underscores the commitment to ensuring that cost is not a barrier to responsible pet ownership and community health.
The Eldon Spay & Neuter Clinic is conveniently located at **310 W 4th St, Eldon, MO 65026, USA**. This central location in Eldon makes it a practical destination for residents throughout the Mid-Missouri area, particularly those who are seeking highly affordable and specialized services for their companion animals.
In terms of accessibility, the facility is designed to welcome all members of the community. It includes a **Wheelchair accessible entrance** and a **Wheelchair accessible parking lot**, ensuring that pet owners with mobility considerations can easily bring their animals in for their scheduled procedures.
Due to the specialized nature of the clinic and the high demand for their low-cost services, **Appointments are recommended**. While walk-ins for some services might be possible depending on availability, scheduling in advance is the most reliable way to secure a slot, particularly for spay and neuter surgeries. This planning helps the professional team manage their schedule effectively to maintain the high standard of care for every patient.
The core services offered at Eldon Spay & Neuter Clinic center around essential preventative care, which is crucial for a pet's long-term health and for controlling the local animal population. While the focus is on surgery, they also provide fundamental wellness treatments to ensure pets are fully protected.
- Spay and Neuter Surgeries: The primary service, performed by licensed veterinarians, to prevent unwanted litters and reduce the risk of certain cancers (such as testicular and mammary) and other reproductive health issues (like pyometra). Surgeries are typically performed on specific days, so scheduling is essential.
- Vaccinations: Provision of essential vaccinations for both dogs and cats, ensuring pets are protected from common, dangerous, and highly contagious diseases. These are often offered as standalone services or as add-ons to the surgery.
- Microchipping: Offering microchip implantation—a permanent form of identification—to greatly increase the chances of reunification should a pet ever get lost in the Missouri area.
- Preventative Medications: Availability of topical and oral preventatives, such as those for flea, tick, and heartworm control, which are vital components of routine wellness care.
- Other Basic Wellness Procedures: Services often include essential care like nail trims and ear cleaning, which can be conveniently scheduled alongside a surgical appointment or vaccination visit.
- Targeted Low-Cost Options: The clinic's pricing model is structured to be highly cost-effective, with tiered pricing for dogs typically based on weight, and separate fees for cats, maximizing affordability for the local community.
The features and highlights of the Eldon Spay & Neuter Clinic are directly tied to its mission of affordability, efficiency, and compassionate care, distinguishing it as a key veterinary service provider in the region.
- Specialized Expertise: The clinic's dedicated focus on spay and neuter surgeries ensures the veterinary team is highly experienced and proficient in these specific procedures, leading to optimized surgical techniques and recovery protocols.
- Exceptional Affordability: A core benefit is the provision of low-cost services, making responsible pet ownership—specifically sterilization and preventative vaccines—financially attainable for a broad segment of the Missouri population.
- Community-Focused Partnerships: Strong relationships with non-profit organizations, like Fresh Start Animal Outreach, allow for financial assistance programs, amplifying the clinic's positive impact on animal welfare locally.
- Professional and Friendly Staff: Customer reviews frequently commend the staff for being friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is specifically designed to minimize anxiety for both pets and owners, with some owners noting their dogs "hardly even knew" they were getting shots.
- Post-Care Follow-Up: The commitment to patient well-being extends beyond the surgery table, with evidence of personalized follow-up messages from the vet the morning after a procedure to ensure the pet is recovering comfortably.
- Efficiency and Timeliness: Services like vaccinations are handled efficiently, ensuring minimal waiting time, which is a major benefit for busy pet owners and reduces stress for the animals.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Excellent experience for our 6 month old Yorkie. On top of the great experience, we received a follow-up message the next morning from the vet to make sure that our little girl was doing okay. We highly recommend this company. July 25 · Jim Wright
- They are awesome. Hands down the best experience I have ever had when getting my dog vaccinated. They are friendly and professional and vaccinations take nearly no time at all. My dog hardly even knew he was getting shots. Less anxiety for him means less for me and I'm all about that!I've included pics of my dog, Rowan. He is a clinic patient who visits for shots and flea control. June 14 · Tracy
- We had taken 2 female cats to get spayed, and a male to get neutered a couple of weeks ago, making it four cats in total that we have taken there. They really are great at what they do, and the fact that they do it at an enormous discount is a godsend for so many people (like us). They really do care about your babies, which is such a relief. One of our females had developed a lump on her sutures, and they had us bring her in and get checked out and get a shot of antibiotics. No charge. Dr. Roger is great.😊Edit- we have now had 4 females and one male cat fixed here, and they really are great there. AND they are doing their level best to give back to the community. We also buy flea treatment for our cats here, and we are getting ready to start their vaccinations and screenings, which is something that we didn't realize that Eldon Spay and neuter also does (also at a much-discounted rate). When we get all of them taken care of, we are going to rescue a kitten (or a litter) to help with the empty spot that the loss of our eldest feline companion (Bob) has left in our hearts and home. Eldon Spay and Neuter will be taking care of our new addition(s) also. 👍❤️ August 13 · Christy McGowen
- I've taken 5 cats here in the last few years. They are great. Decent prices, plus if you visit the animal thrift shop (down the street across from the car dealership and next to Wal-Mart) you can get a $10 voucher for each pet you need spayed or neutered. Haven't had any issues, would highly recommended compared to some of the surrounding businesses that spay and neuter. Very polite, very helpful, and gave me all the information I needed to take care of my pets after surgery. Plus they check up on you and your pets post surgery to see if everything was still alright. Thank you! P. S. Always love reading your sign when I pass through Eldon... hilarious!!! August 26 · Brandy Richardson
- Great people, affordable prices. I have taken two cats and have been pleased with their care and surgery. Tabby is amazing and has great customer service. January 23 · Lora roberts
