Fremont Veterinary Clinic offers a comprehensive range of primary veterinary care services designed to support the health and well-being of dogs and cats through all stages of their lives. Their multi-doctor hospital is equipped to meet various medical and surgical needs.
- Wellness and Preventive Care: This is a core focus, including thorough annual physical examinations, tailored vaccination protocols (e.g., rabies, parvovirus), parasite control (fleas, ticks, heartworm), and personalized nutritional counseling to maintain optimal health and prevent disease.
- Dental Care: Recognizing the importance of oral health, the clinic provides comprehensive dental services. These often include professional dental cleanings (scaling and polishing), digital dental X-rays to assess the health of teeth below the gum line, and extractions when necessary.
- Diagnostic Services: When a pet is sick, accurate diagnosis is the first step toward effective treatment. Fremont Veterinary Clinic offers in-house laboratory services for blood tests, urinalysis, and fecal exams. They also provide general X-rays (digital radiography) to examine internal body systems and advanced imaging like ultrasounds, with a certified technician on staff to perform them.
- Surgical Procedures: The clinic performs various surgical procedures. While specific eligible surgeries should be confirmed, this generally includes common soft tissue surgeries such as spaying, neutering, and mass removals. Patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures are paramount.
- Microchipping: For enhanced pet safety, microchipping services are available, providing permanent identification that significantly increases the chances of reuniting with a lost pet.
- Pain Management: They address acute and chronic pain in pets, developing individualized plans that may include medication, alternative therapies, or other supportive measures to improve comfort and quality of life, especially for older pets or those managing chronic conditions like arthritis.
- Geriatric Care: As pets age, their healthcare needs change. Fremont Veterinary Clinic provides specialized care for senior pets, focusing on early detection and management of age-related conditions to ensure comfortable and healthy golden years.
- End-of-Life Care: When it comes time to say goodbye, the clinic offers compassionate euthanasia services and support, helping families navigate this difficult period with dignity and empathy.

Fremont Veterinary Clinic Reviews
Been taking my pups there for the last decade. Friendly staff and several docs have helped me through caring for a dog with cancer and end of life. Very grateful.
Jun 07, 2025 · Chelsea QMy kitties love to visit Fremont Vets. The receptionists, vet techs, and veterinarians are so friendly. They love cats, don't over-recommend meds, and are very respectful of our choices. They even managed to trim Boot's nail in just a few minutes. Miracle! So glad they are our vets.
Sep 17, 2023 · Laura BelkAlways take good care of our pups Rory and Henry. Special shoutout to the front desk staff! They are always courteous and respond to email inquiries promptly which I appreciate. Very accommodating to reactive dogs too.
Nov 19, 2024 · Sean BMy family and I have brought dogs here since the 1980s. Every Fremont vet we've seen has been knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. The support staff goes above and beyond my expectations, as well.My current dog has behavior issues and everyone at the clinic has done a great job of helping me help her have a better, healthier life and making sure everyone (they, me, my pup, and anyone in the waiting room) has a safe, good experience, all without perpetuating any of the guilt you often have as the owner of a difficult dog. (Special thanks to Dan- without him, Lulu's nails would be 4 inches long and my hands riddled with bites!)While I can certainly understand finding a particular vet here that you want to see exclusively, if their calendar is booked up, I'd totally recommend seeing any of the doctors. All of the doctors I've seen here have been very knowledgeable and each have their own interests and experiences that can help you form a complete picture of options and solutions for your pet. They are a busy clinic, and sometimes get walk-in emergencies, so I've found it's best to schedule as ahead of time as you can. If your appointment is later in the day, things may be running a little late, as well. But I have always felt comfortable asking questions and being given the time to do so.
Mar 29, 2017 · Tori ZanzalariThe vets here are fantastic. I got 3 follow-up phone calls after my cat had to have surgery, checking in on how he was doing with recovery, calling with results of lab tests, even when normal, and being flexible with our schedules for returning for stitches removal. They did not try to nickle and dime us during a difficult time; if a more affordable version of a medication or product was available, they would help guide us to that, while still providing exemplary care. Highly recommend! Both vets, vet techs and front desk staff were wonderful — so glad we found this veterinary clinic and so close to home. Especially raving review for Dr Amanda Veatch, who guided us every step of the way throughout our cat’s unfortunate health problems.
