★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- This place was great after an unfortunate injury to our dog. We had never been here before but it was on the weekend and our normal vet is closed. The front staff was very friendly and got us checked in right away. We were told it might be an hour wait but they had techs come and get some vitals while we waited. It was a shorter wait than an hour. The vet was amazing, Dr. Timmons, I believe. She was very helpful answering the questions we had regarding the injury and some insight on how to proceed after our dog was injured. It was a very fair price for an unexpected injury. - We’ve had to take our dogs to Frontier Vet Urgent Care a few times now, but this last visit was by far the scariest—and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the care we received. Our dog, Arnie somehow managed to eat way more hair ties than any living thing should, and Frontier got him in quickly, walked us through all the options, and didn’t make us feel judged at all.The staff was incredibly kind, compassionate, and just so down-to-earth. They explained everything clearly, gave us choices, and were totally upfront about pricing. We really appreciated that—they didn’t try to upsell or pressure us, just focused on what was best for our pup and what made sense for us financially. It was fair, and honestly, for the level of care they provide, completely worth it.What really surprised us (in the best way) was how they followed up—not just with us, but also with our regular vet. That level of communication and follow-through is rare, and it meant a lot.I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: I wish more places were like this. It’s so reassuring to walk into a vet clinic and feel like your pet is in great hands from start to finish.I will also say that there are some people who complain about money and pricing....its always tough when it comes to pets and what it cost if there are emergencies. I highly recommend looking into pet insurance, care credit, something in case your animal does have an emergency situation. No matter what this is a business and it takes money to keep lights on. I would rather invest in this company vs some of the other 24 hour vet clinics in this area that anytime we have tried to go to those places, their vets are in surgery, no one can see us or its literally hours upon hours. I called other places to see how much surgery would have been for our dog and the quotes were way higher (just fyi) March 29 · Manda Tran
- We were visiting from out of state when our cat became ill. This clinic was recommended by all of the regular clinics we called that couldn't fit us in. We went early, around 1015 and there was only one person in front of us. The person manning the front desk was very nice and informative. Dr. Timmons and her staff were wonderful and we felt comfortable with the care they provided our kitty. They even transferred the record of her emergency care to her vet back home. The same day. Would absolutely recommend this Urgent Care Clinic for your pet. August 29 · Gwen Coleman
- So frustrating. I brought my cat in last night cause she was in respiratory distress only to be turned away because “they may not be able to use X-rays tonight” and their “work load was already too heavy for them”. I was one of four cars in the main parking lot and one of three people inside (besides the employee cars in back). For one of the only pet ER’s in the area, and hardly anyone inside, it was extremely frustrating to be turned away when my sweet girl needed immediate attention. I ended up driving 15+ minutes to an ER in Brookfield to be told she had an upper respiratory infection and lung worms. 10/10 would NOT recommend!! August 06 · Heather Rae
- I called Frontier at 7:30PM on Saturday night after having several hours wasted at another animal clinic nearby (where they did not see my cat and did not communicate that they had a long wait). When I called, I was informed that they no longer received customers as of 8:30PM that night, but I could stop by immediately.I arrived at ~8:10, had a vet tech talk to me within 15 minutes, had a treatment plan and a two day estimate provided within 30 minutes, and got home by 9:15 after initial treatment with my cat. The professionalism and care exhibited by the staff was exceptional - at every step of the process I was receiving updates on my cat and having my questions answered. The doctor and vet tech were knowledgeable, empathetic, and professional throughout the process. If my cat were to have an emergency again, I would definitely bring him to Frontier again. The quality of care he received was very high and I highly recommend their services. July 07 · James Spence
