Harris Lori DVM Reviews
My cat Cora this year, had recently been diagnosed with an aggressive type of cancer which was located in her mammary gland, we had to do back to back visits from blood work to surgery and I cannot thank Doctor Harris enough for the work and effort she’s put in. She is pretty much the only person I can trust to deal with Cora one on one especially since my cat can be extremely aggressive and won’t hesitate to scratch or bite. If you are looking for a vet that is affordable and reasonable with her pricing and cares for your animals as if they were her own, you should definitely consider Doctor Harris. Again I cannot thank her enough she is truly one of a kind.
Apr 28, 2023 · Kayla HartungAside from the fact that Doc Harris makes house calls, which is amazing in 2016 in itself, she takes the time to do her job in a caring way. My dog was unable to walk and had to be put down back in 2012 and Doc Harris came to my house to do the deed. He was a large dog that was NOT ready to go! It took 3 shots to get him down and Doc Harris was beyond kind and understanding while treating him. Once he passed, I asked if she could wait a few minutes for my daughter to come home from school to say her final good byes and Doc Harris was very understanding about that. She is extremely compassionate. I recommend her to anyone who needs a good vet.
Jan 11, 2016 · ginna anselmoDr. Harris is amazing. She cared for my dog, Rocky, who recently passed just short of 18 years old. She came to my house on short notice even if it turned out he was being dramatic or I was being dramatic. His tough guy adrenaline would kick in and it became difficult to explain to her why I called her.Dr. Harris was always patient with me when it came to explaining how to hold my little toothless man to have his blood taken. She always called back and I was able to meet her for his thyroid medication refills or if he needed his NSAIDs.Dr. Harris continues to care for my cats. She has pets of her own and you can tell she adores them. She never lost her passion. I can feel that, and I can only imagine it's one of the reasons she's one of very few willing to make house calls.
Jun 21, 2019 · AlannaDr. Harris has been caring for my dogs since we got our first almost 12 years ago. She comes to our home in Commack which is great for our dogs! Shew is kind and caring and really knows her stuff! I could be happier with the care she gives our sweet dogs.
Jan 16, 2020 · Scott WeberWe've used Dr. Harris for many years. Not only is Dr. Harris competent and professional, she is the most compassionate veterinarian we've ever seen. Whether bringing our pets in for regular shots or emergency visits if they were sick, injured or needed evaluation for end of life, Dr. Harris was always there for us. We wouldn't trust anyone else with the care of our family pets.
