What Is Worth Choosing
Choosing a veterinary center is about building a long-term relationship with a team you trust. For Little Elm residents, Healthy Paws Veterinary Center is a top-tier choice for several key reasons. First and foremost, the facility’s comprehensive nature is a major benefit. Having a veterinary pharmacy, animal hospital, groomer, and boarding service all in one location simplifies pet care and allows for a more cohesive approach to your pet’s health. Instead of juggling multiple providers, you can rely on one team that knows your pet’s history inside and out.
Secondly, the staff's dedication is unparalleled. As a new resident to Texas noted in a review, the experience was "absolutely AMAZING," with Dr. Laura going "above and beyond" to answer questions and provide knowledgeable recommendations. This personal, attentive approach is what truly distinguishes a good veterinary practice from a great one. The testimonial from a cat owner, who was "stressed and nervous" about their 15-year-old cat's well-being, is particularly telling. They found that the "entire staff went above and beyond," leading them to declare Healthy Paws their new permanent vet. This feedback speaks volumes about the clinic’s ability to handle sensitive situations with grace and compassion, providing exceptional care to all pets, including those who may be more challenging.
The cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere also contribute to a positive experience for both pets and their owners. A clean environment is a sign of a well-managed and professional practice. Ultimately, Healthy Paws Veterinary Center provides a unique combination of convenience, expertise, and genuine care, making it an excellent choice for any pet owner in the Texas community looking for a long-term partner in their pet’s health journey.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1New to Texas and this place was absolutely AMAZING. Dr Laura spent extra time answering all my questions, make several recommendations and is extremely knowledgeable. Entire staff is friendly and the location is very clean and smells wonderful. So thankful to have found them!
June 07 · Mandalina FerreiraI brought my 15 year old cat to this facility for fur loss. I was stressed and nervous about the well being of my cat, Ziggy, and worried if she would receive the care and support she deserves. Often times vets seem to handle canine pets better than feline ones. The entire staff went above and beyond for us and I am thankful for that. I have found my new permanent vet and highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you, Healthy Paws :)
June 14 · Mark RacicotThe staff at Healthy Paws always make me feel welcomed and my pets loved. They do an amazing job grooming and treating my dogs and treat them like family! I will continue to bring my babies to Healthy Paws and highly recommend them to all.
July 16 · Stephan LopezOn Monday, when I first reached out to setup a new patient appointment, I experienced friendly service and a welcoming envirnoment.I then procceeded to take my pet to their location where they examined him and suggested blood/fecal/urine samples were needed to better diagnose my pet. I was told we would get a call from the vet to inform us of the lab results.Blood sample was drawn on Monday's visit and fecal and Urine sample were dropped 2 days later on Wednesday.I never received a follow up call and when I called them back next week on Monday, Erin was very polite and professional when she informed me they had called last week and left a voicemail but discovered they had captured my contact info inaccurately as they mixed the last 4 numbers of my phone #.I thn said ok, mistakes happen, at least they called me, and requested a call from the Vet to go over lab work. Vet called me when I was in a work meeting and couldn't pick up. I then called immidiately after my meeting ended and asked Erin if I could speak to the Vet.Erin checked with the Vet and then told me that the Vet told her that she had left a voicemail explaining lab work results.Really? No interaction? No chance to ask questions about lab results? This upsets me because you charge $400 total for examination and lab work and you are not willing to talk and explain just because you left a voicemail? No opportunity to ask what could have caused my pet to get sick, oh but voicemail does offer addtional testing $$$$$ options to further diagnose. No real attention to customers concerns or feelings, its all about tests and get more money out of pockets "to further test"This was my first time and last one visiting your practice. I don't care for a follow up, I'm mainly giving this feedback for others to be careful when visiting your place.
June 30 · JavierAfter using this clinic for over 7 years it has come to my attention that they just take your money and do not care about your pets. I had been asking if my boxer was diabetic for the last year because she was constantly drinking water and never full and after multiple testing and thousands of dollars spent they were always telling me no. I took her to the Emergency Vet clinic on El Dorado across from Walmart yesterday because she woke up with her eye bulging out of it’s socket and that vet did a full senior testing which Healthy Paws did in March and results came back that she is diabetic and needs shots and a prescribed diet. My dog is now possibly going to lose her eyeball because of Healthy Paws neglect. Do not use this clinic if you love your dogs and cats.
