Magnolia Animal Hospital Reviews
Over the past 11+ years, Dr. Jon has been a steadfast companion in my dogs' medical care. His dedication is unmatched. The Magnolia staff, though occasionally overwhelmed by the volume of calls (sometimes long hold times), has always been a beacon of kindness and efficiency. Their ability to juggle emergencies and routine visits is nothing short of miraculous. In the last year of both of my dogs' lives (Hoss & Kosta), we had to schedule many emergency visits, and the Magnolia staff always managed to squeeze us in. While we understood that emergency visits come with an additional cost, we found the prices to be very reasonable compared to surrounding vets.I want to emphasize that due to Dr. Jon being such an exceptional vet, he has accumulated many clients over the years, which can sometimes lead to delayed appointments. However, once Dr. Jon is in the room with your pet, you can see that his main focus is to provide the best health service possible. He is willing to answer all of your questions and truly wants the best for your pet.In the last year of my boys' lives, Dr. Jon did everything he could to help them improve medically. I respect Dr. Jon immensely because when he realized that one of my dogs needed more specialized care, he was upfront with me and referred me to NC State. Unfortunately, both passed away from untreatable cancer, but I truly believe they lived an extra year due to Dr. Jon's dedication and willingness to help and care for them.I could not have asked for better dedication from Dr. Jon regarding my dogs' health. I hope he knows how much he is valued and how grateful I am to have found such an amazing vet.

May 22, 2025 · K KamienskiBeen going here for several years. Lived in Raleigh-Durham-Cary area for 20 years and definitely the best vet in the area. Quality care and the most reasonable prices. You won’t go broke and they don’t push an agenda.
Jun 24, 2025 · KoryI love Magnolia! They are guiding me through keeping an elderly dog happy and healthy and I’m grateful for them! Very affordable quality veterinarian and convenient boarding I can trust!
Jun 27, 2025 · Christopher BetzMy beloved 14yo cat, Buttercup, previously entirely healthy (Zero apparent health issues) for years..caught a viral upper respiratory infection/flu/cold while at this office when she had an appointment to be examined for an ear infection. She was sent home with an rx after her labwork indicated a mild ear infection and everything else was fine after her physical check up. Originally, I was very complementary and impressed by the practice and shared my relief with my husband. However, my beloved cat had been quarantined indoors before and after her Ear infection, she is an indoor only cat. I have not left the house since her appointment because I have been sick with a kidney infection myself. Before the onset of my cat’s NEW symptoms… approximately four days AFTER our visit worsening on the fifth day (seen on Monday sick as hell on Friday). By Friday she had clear liquid dripping out of her nose, Sneezing, Lethargy, Gasping and struggling to breathe open mouthed for two days, low fever, Obviously vey sick and uncomfortable, Very unhappy. I promised her she would feel better after the stress of her first visit and she ended up feeling 10 times worse. A vet not five minutes away from us, diagnosed her with a viral upper respiratory Infection because Magnolia Animal Hospital “could not” see Buttercup for five more days Unless I wanted to pay emergency pricing. I was desperately trying to get her seen on Friday. There is no other scenario than that she acquired this viral upper respiratory infection from her visit to your clinic. She did not want to spend any time on the examination table and paced around on the exam room floor during our entire visit. I would recommend that you actually sanitize these floors regularly in future. Perhaps with bleach or a steam mop? I know that sounds annoying, but I used to be a vet tech and did this sort of thing..I have never had a cat experience this particular illness in my 20 years of owning and fostering them. I gave my husband such glowing reviews of our initial experience, but then this happened, and it broke my heart to see my cat so sick that it absolutely terrified me. Zero out of five stars.
