★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We were in Myrtle Beach for vacation when my dog needed to be urgently seen by a vet. Dr. Hunt was able to get her in that day to be seen. The staff were so friendly and loved on my pup so much! They made sure I had everything I needed to get us through our vacation and back home. I’m so grateful to them! And when we come back, I know who to go to for the best care for my fur baby. Highly recommend to locals and those vacationing in/near Myrtle Beach!
August 29 · Alice SeelyI was looking for a new vet and was referred to Dr. Hunt at Meadowlawn. I loved the way their rooms were set up, their doors are split, so they keep the top half open, which allows them to look in on animals and also bring air into the room, which is nice. The vet tech Amber was so nice and communicative. She treated my babies with love and care and made sure to get the medical history. Before she went to get Dr. Hunt, she reconfirmed the major points on medical history and concerns - which I loved. Dr. Hunt came in with Amber and another veterinarian who was nice but I cannot remember her name. Dr. Hunt was also communicative and definitely has kept up to date in best practices for our fur babies, talked with me on my concerns on lumps my dogs had, presented a few options to me as well but did not pressure on getting things done asap. What topped off my experience is I received a call from Jennifer the day after, checking on my babies and if I had any questions I could call her. It was such a great experience and love that I have a trusted vet down here now.
June 04 · Amanda CarlI was in Myrtle Beach vacationing last week with my family and my 5 yr old Westie starting having stomach and bowel issues we haven't experienced before. I took my pup to Meadowlawn at Myrtle Beach, walked in off the street, and the personnel were very caring and understanding, and had me scheduled for an appointment for an hour after I arrived. I chose to sit in their waiting room and was called in around 25 minutes into my wait. They took care of my bestie and within 24 hours was acting her spunky self again. Further, I just received a call shortly ago to check in on her. While I didn't have the opportunity to answer (back from vacation and working), it is very comforting to know that they care so much for someone's pet and family member - that they never met before - to do that.It isn't the first time vacationing in that area and I am sure it won't be my last. While I hope it was a flash in the pan, if my little Harriet has any issues in the future while visiting again, I won't hesitate to attend this clinic.Thank you,John
August 11 · John KulickI've been going to meadowlawn now for 4 years and I love Dr Hunt. My 11 year old pity just had double surgery for some growth on both front and back right pause and she's recuperating wonderfully. Everybody there is so kind and loving and polite and understanding I wouldn't go anywhere else.
June 20 · Denise DepuyI’m really disappointed with how this office handled my epileptic husky. He had an appointment for an infected anal gland and when he was taken back he was muzzled, which I completely understand. However, after the vet and vet techs cleaned it and returned him to the waiting room, They had forgotten to trim his nails. At this point he was already worked up, and they decided to muzzle him AGAIN. Then in the process of clipping his nails, they cut his dew claw off almost completely. By the end of the appointment he was so extremely stressed out. I’ve been going to this vet the past year, and they knew he is a diagnosed epileptic that actively takes medication for it, and this is how they decided to handle my dog.
