★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 13/15/25 I’m adding a note to my review. We had to make the tough decision to lay our dog Skylar to rest, and they were so very accommodating and kind. We came in at 8am this morning, and they took us back within seconds. They did not rush us, explained everything, and made sure we were comfortable.I want to thank y’all from the bottom of my heart… for a walk in appointment for something like this, we were in such great hands, and we are so thankful. Thank you for taking such great care of our Skylar.***We have two cats and a dog, and we love Mercy! Our cats are getting up there in age, and they don’t appreciate car rides or trips… so it is very difficult to get them in for check ups. My daughter and I brought them in very recently, and we were in and out in twenty minutes. The vet and the assistant (not sure what why are called exactly), we’re extremely quick and treated our boys so well. We have boarded our dog here a couple of times as well, and she’s always happy and well taken care of when we pick her up. Highly recommend this place!
March 15 · AmandaIt saddens me to say we will no longer be going to Mercy Animal Hospital after over 3 years of loyalty. I want to start by saying it is at no fault of the vets and the techs. We have had a great experience with each one we have come in contact with. Sadly whoever is running the pharmacy has pushed us to this breaking point. We have now had our second bad encounter with the pharmacy department claiming we are behind on heart worm prevention and both of our dogs would need to come in for testing before they could approve our interceptor request. This exact same situation happened last year around the same time (and conveniently also 6 months before their annual appointment). Both of my dogs were seen in October of 2024 and had their annuals and their heart worm screening - we have 6 more months until they are supposed to be screened again. We use the “my vet store online” to purchase our prevention that they informed us we would need to use - so it makes zero sense as to why the wires are getting crossed here. Last year (even though I knew I wasn’t crazy and give my dogs their prevention religiously) I complied with them and brought my dogs in for the ADDITIONAL screening so I could continue to buy my prevention. I thought it was a fluke and just bit the bullet and paid an obscene amount to be re-screened. After this they had ANOTHER heart worm screening (6 months after the initial pharmacy issue re-scan) at their annuals in October so that everything would be together like it is supposed to be…This year when I got the message that they could not approve my interceptor request because they had been off of prevention I immediately knew exactly what was going on. I called and even explained that this same thing happened last year and something was wrong. No one wanted to hear it. I was told according the their computer they had been off prevention for over 3 months and they would have to come in and I would have to pay $56 per dog plus the office visit fee, etc… I decided that was the end of our business with Mercy. I am now out of pocket over $400 ADDITIONAL dollars over the last two years now because Mercy has cut my dogs heart worm scan validity in half. The fact that it’s happened two times now just shows someone does not know what they are doing. This has cost us a huge amount of money that is just unnecessary and I am tired of having to try and explain that something is wrong and no one wants to believe me or listen to what I have to say. I am super disappointed in the pharmacy department. We really had a lot of faith and history at Mercy and it pains me as a pet parent to have to take my babies elsewhere but I refuse to be taken advantage of because someone is not keeping up with the prescriptions
June 01 · Taylor PoseyWe have always had a positive experience at Mercy, and today was no different. My dog has had an upset stomach for >24 hrs so I called and discussed her symptoms with a staff member who suggested I bring her in. After assessing her, the team wanted to do some blood work and diagnostic imaging. They fully explained their reasoning and indications for every lab/test and confirmed that I was on board with each one. They were also very transparent about the cost up front, which I really appreciated as a first time dog mom who wouldn’t have known what to expect. They reviewed the results with me and explained the treatment plan in detail, along with symptoms I should look out for in case my dog worsened over the weekend. At the end of the visit, I asked if they could write out the concerns to look out for - not only did they provide that, but also a comprehensive review of her visit in case I needed to take her to a 24/7 vet over the weekend if things were to worsen. They went over my dog’s various prescriptions with me in detail and provided me with a list of recommended emergency vets upon my request since I am relatively new to the area! I feel like they went above and beyond for my baby, and nothing is more reassuring as a parent than knowing your pet is receiving excellent care from people who are passionate about what they do.Huge thank you to Dr. Kent and Baylee for taking such good care of my Willow girl!
August 01 · Lauren SmithI spoke with Brandy and Leah at Mercy and were both extremely helpful. They went above and beyond helping me today! It was a pleasure speaking with them. I love when Leah is working the front she is always so helpful and sweet!
July 12 · AMOWe boarded our dog Max with them for a long weekend visit to Gatlinburg, TN. They were very good to our dog moving him to a more isolated area when his anxiety worsened. They gave him his medicine and kept an eye on him each day. Nice folks, affordable services and highly recommend.
