★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My girl was treated with the utmost care even tho she was terrified they were very respectful and treated her with the most gentle care and understanding. The staff was great even when Bella snapped at her (didn't lunge at her) thinking she was coming at me and the lovely lady understood and complimented her for doing a good job at protecting me.They were so very understanding of her fear and treated her and me with the utmost respect.
July 04 · DeAnnaI cannot say enough to express the gratitude I have for the vets and staff here. In the course of three months they saved the life of my mama dog and then 5 weeks later one of her puppies. On a Saturday morning after texting with the vet, it was clear that my mama dog had a stuck puppy and needed a C section. They had me bring my laboring 130 pound mastiff mama right in and were ready to deliver her 10 pups upon my arrival for a very reasonable price. Five weeks later one of the pups abruptly fell ill with what I eventually learned was a septic joint infection. After two different emergency vets in Portland failed to make a difference for her I was back here. Cassie Weber saved my pup’s life. I have experienced lots and lots of veterinary care and I have never seen anyone so invested in an outcome. My pup (Pink) was hospitalized there for 5 days and eventually got to go home and beat her infection. The care continued through check ins and laser therapy. I was told that Pink only spent about half her time while hospitalized in her kennel and I sincerely believe that judging by how excited she is when we visit and how all the staff, from receptionists, vet techs and vets, adore her. When we walk in the door it is so clear how much the entire office is invested in her outcome and how much they care for her. I am a lifelong customer. I would never choose to go anywhere else, especially for reproductive or neonatal care.
May 17 · Willamette Valley DoguesI can't thank Dr. Weber and his staff enough. Recently, I had an emergency with my dog, Wilbur, and they were able to get us in right away. Even though we live in Washington, I will always make the drive to have my dog seen here because of the sheer compassionate care Wilbur receives every time.Dr. Weber also saved Wilbur’s life—and the lives of his surviving siblings—after a traumatic home birth. Their kindness, expertise, and genuine love for animals are unmatched. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for the best care for their pets. Thank you Dr. Weber for being an amazing vet to my chunky monkey!!!
February 20 · Grace NguyenIf you are looking for a great and affordable Veterinarian. Newberg is a place I would recommend. Thank you so much for the great care of our Frankie.
July 20 · Richard TaylorNewberg Vet Hospital USED TO BE amazing. Yesterday, we had a very rough experience. We've been going here and recommending this place for a long time, but NO MORE!They are overbooked, overwhelmed, and incapable of handling even basic visits well anymore. SO sad. SO upset. SO looking for a new vet.UPDATE TO RESPOND... congratulations on being my first review ever.Your records should indicate that a different vet had already pulled our dogs records as of the next day. AND he's already been seen by that new vet today ALREADY, yay! how refreshing. AND they trimmed his nails during the routine exam AND they disagree with the very bad advice that we received from Dr. Flora staying that it would put him in danger to drop his food ration so drastically to 2 cups. 3 cups minimum and gradually getting to there for weight loss and 4 cups when he returns to 80 to 85 lbs. She was giving advice for a dog that should be 55 to 65 lbs. He's a large breed male who's sire is 80 lbs and he's the biggest of any litter they'd ever had. His target weight is 80 to 85 lbs.Your clinic is way over busy, we tried since the beginning of May to get in for a regular visit. We ended up with Dr. Flora and I'm sorry we did. She went to take his ear temp and shoved quickly into him and he pulled away. She said, "I'm not going to wrestle you for it" I said, "You just needed to scratch his ear and he'd do anything for you." She was obviously having a bad day and I'm sure this didn't help.As far the rest of the visit, he didn't even get his nails trimmed, which were over due for sure, seeing how you are so over busy.My dog, my family and I had our worst ever vet experience in our lives that day and I wanted to encourage others to just keep looking when they look here.
