What is worth choosing North Beaverton Pet Hospital? We believe the answer is in the compassionate care that makes a real difference for our patients. A client’s review for their "dear, elderly kitty Lucy" highlighted this, offering "special thanks to nurse Julie for her skills, patience and kindness." This feedback underscores our commitment to a gentle and caring approach, which is especially important for senior pets or those who are nervous about vet visits. The client's words, "we so appreciate it," show the value of a kind and patient staff. However, it's important to acknowledge that every clinic may have different experiences. A former client had a very negative experience with a dental procedure and expressed concerns about communication and their pet's well-being. They noted their dog seemed to be traumatized and that communication about the incident was difficult. The client’s experience is a reminder that every situation is unique and that it’s important to find a vet clinic that aligns with your specific needs and values. We at North Beaverton Pet Hospital are committed to transparency and open communication and invite all potential clients to reach out to us with any questions about our procedures or policies. Our goal is to ensure a positive and trusting relationship with all members of our community and to provide the best possible care for your cherished small animals.

July 19 · Tana RhodesDO NOT TRUST THIS CLINIC. THIS CLINIC TRAUMATIZED MY PUP. I brought my dog to this clinic for about a year and everything was fine. Vets and techs seemed competent and caring. So, I trusted them to do a dental procedure on my Pomeranian. I dropped my dog off at 8 am, but they did not begin operating until 5 pm due to an “emergency surgery”. They finished the procedure at 6 pm. So my pup was at this clinic for OVER 10 HOURS for a procedure that took 1 hour to complete. I have no idea how she was treated while she was there, but evidence of neglect was that she was covered in her own feces when I picked her up and so it was likely that my pup was NOT TAKEN TO GO POTTY FOR OVER 9 HOURS while she waited for the procedure. Even worse, following her recovery from the procedure, my pup developed anxiety when going outside or on walks. Before this she had no anxiety or problems. When I tried to speak with the veterinarian about what had occurred, I was told it was “legally not allowed” for me to speak to a veterinarian over the phone, I would have to bring my traumatized pet back to the place where she was originally traumatized for a formal consultation to be able to speak with a vet. In short, DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. THEY TRAUMATIZED MY OTHERWISE HAPPY AND HEALTHY POMERANIAN. I will work hard to find proper care for my pup and reverse the trauma they have induced. Please, take your pet somewhere else and do not let them neglect and traumatize your pet as well.
August 17 · Piercen NNorth Beaverton Pet Hospital was able to get my dog a same day urgent care appointment within an hour of my call. All the techs and nurses were extremely kind and caring. Dr. Caldwell showed deep compassion and did her best for my pup. She made preparations for his transfer to Dove Lewis when he needed a blood transfusion.I highly recommend North Beaverton Pet Hospital.
August 18 · Jennifer HillWe took our fur baby, male cat Ginger, to get neutered, at his pre-op appointment and they were able to do the surgery the same day since they had a cancellation. Everyone that works there was so kind. You can tell they really do love animals, and care about their jobs. They walked us through everything, and made sure we understood the after visit instructions, and answered all the questions we had with compassion and kindness. I am so grateful the spay and neuter fund sent us there. If you are low income, this is the place to go. They have fair prices and they treat their clients with respect and compassion. I 110% recommend North Beaverton Pet Hospital.
February 10 · Margaret Porte (Harley Porte-Sinwich)We love this pet clinic. We found them when we had a pet emergency once and we have stayed with them. We have their healthcare plan for two of our precious pups. They get us in on a timely manner. We’ve never had any complaint.
