P.A.W. Veterinary Clinic Reviews
Dr.Wormell is really kind & empathetic. Her staff are always nice and helpful. My dog has passed but I was really grateful that my vet before her who was no longer the right fit for us recommended her to me.
Dec 17, 2023 · Shab ShahI have been taking my cat and dogs to Doc Wormell for years! She is the best! My cat has a disease that we have had to monitor for years and she has held my hand the whole time. I would never go to another vet!
Oct 11, 2023 · Jen CramerI went to Paws for around 8 years. I used to love this Vet clinic. They treated my dog amazingly! Though once my older dog passed on, I ended up getting a new puppy. I registered him at Paws, and he’s 2 yrs old now. I went and got some of his shots at tractor supply, and then came to Paws to get his rabies and such. They seemed to have a huge issue with that, but never said anything when I did it for my last dog…(probably because now they are money driven). My dog now also has similar allergies as my last dog. So I pretty much come to Paws for the same exact medication every time. Though, they say they have to do a full wellness exam first. Which now is $95 “due to minimum wage going up”. Not including both of his medications he gets. (Which last time they double dosed my dog on steroids instead of an antibiotic). Thankfully I caught it, before I gave it to him. But that still didn’t deter me away from them… But now after an estimate of an allergy test, on top of a wellness exam, they wanted to charge me close to $900. Without even his medications… So I respectfully told them that I couldn’t afford that price, so I would have to take him to a local vet for the time being (I travel from harpers ferry). To which I received an email saying “well you could’ve just declined the allergy test, but we can send over his records to whoever you change to”. Then proceeds to tell me the day of, that they don’t have permission from the Dr. to send them to me yet. While I’m at his new vet! And already being told that they will send them over! (For his allergy test that he NEEDS done). So I got an email yesterday saying that he no longer is registered to Paws. And to click on the link with his records before it expires… but it’s okay. I went to “Promise animal league” in Boonsboro Md and only paid $240. For an allergy test, meds, and an exam. With a follow up appointment set up for free of charge!… Thanks Paws! It was nice till it wasn’t. I hope for the best in your future endeavors. And please feel free to comment below with anything you need to, to make yourself feel better :)
Feb 07, 2024 · Alyssa FosterMy dog and I love everything about PAWS! Dr. Wormell and her entire team clearly love animals and caring for them. Everyone is kind, caring, and professional. My aging dog has essentially been kicked out of two groomers because he hates to have his nails trimmed. But at PAWS, he doesn't even require restraining. From nail trimmings to surgery, they are completely transparent with pricing and ensure you know exactly what is going on with your pet. After surgery, the doc called to inform me on how it went and after care, then the team followed up the next day just to see how he was doing. It is such an amazing place to entrust the care of your furry loved ones.
Dec 24, 2021 · rachael walshThe staff is very caring and does their best to comfort our cat. The facility is always clean and the doctor takes a genuine interest in our cat's welfare. They have gone out of their way to provide us with the products and services we need, even when they are "officially" closed.
