★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Everyone was so nice. My Kitty is use to being around me only and she was hissing at everyone. The staff understood her and was so caring. I had just moved to Wylie and my son had told me about Parker Road Veterinary Hospital. So when I went to them, I told them about being referred. They gave me $50 off my fees that day and also gave my son a $50 credit on his account. I highly recommend them!
June 20 · Brenda JamesMy mother took her three fur babies to Parker Road Vet for many years before she moved out of state about ten years ago. I visited once for an ER visit, and Dr. Abraham took such great care of us and our fur baby at a time when we didn’t have a lot of funds. He even made a cast out of the other half of one he had from another patient, saving us both money and stress. That level of care stuck with me.Fast forward ten years—I’ve moved back to Texas, and last night, we had an urgent issue with one of our fur babies. His belly was swollen, hard, turning black, and he was constantly panting and struggling to breathe. Dr. Abraham and his team got us in right away. The X-rays showed a few concerns, but nothing major, and while we await bloodwork, Dr. Abraham even plans to check on the results Monday—despite it being Spring Break when his office is supposed to be closed. He has other patients he wants to check on too, which just shows his genuine care and dedication. The entire Parker Road Vet team—from the Lipita and the front desk to the techs and Dr. Abraham—are truly wonderful. They take the time to explain everything and always check for the most effective yet affordable way to diagnose and treat pets. It’s clear that their focus is the well-being of animals, not money. Having lived in multiple states (FL, KS, OK, TN) due to work, I’ve been to many vets, and Parker Road Vet is by far the best.Even after all these years he remembered my Mom me and our babies. BEFORE looking at the files and such when I mentioned my Mom. My last name is even different now, so I was worked in as a new patient, not even an existing one, and he still remembered us when he came in the room.
March 17 · Sandra DowWhat a great first experience! My kitten became ill suddenly and I was looking for a same day appointment. Not only did they squeeze me in, but they even called me back twice to offer earlier times when they experienced cancellations. I can tell they truly care about their patients. The doctor also didn’t jump to expensive, exploratory options but offered steps we felt confident with to find answers. We have found the vet we will keep going to!
August 14 · Danielle WillardI just moved to Wylie and my dog was vomiting. I was able to get an appointment quickly. The office staff were friendly. Dr. Howard was also very nice and very thorough in her assessment along with explanation of exam. She called to check on my Bruno and give me the lab results. I was very impressed. I will be taking my other animals there as well.
July 27 · Tina BrantleyParker Road Vet is great. Dr. Abraham is who we see, and he is always compassionate to my very nervous pup. I trust his advice and treatment plans. All the staff are friendly. I never wait long for appointments, and I'm never pushed to buy extra services or products. Their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.
