★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Dr. Monroe performed a cryptorchid surgery on my stud colt, Leo and the entire experience was really wonderful. Upon my first phone call I spoke with Mercedes and the scheduling process was seamless. The phone call was quickly followed up by an email with pre surgery instructions, payment options and boarding options. Mercedes kept in contact with me via email to answer my many questions up until we brought him to the clinic. Dr. Monroe even contacted me directly to explain some procedure protocols I had questions about. She even wrote a "doctors note" for me to request a reimbursement from a horse show we had pre paid for we were no longer able to attend due to the surgery. The clinic itself was easy to haul to, spacious space to pull in and get out. Leo had a large stall all set up for him upon arrival. Dr. Monroe made several phone calls to me throughout his stay to keep me informed even if it was just to tell me he was quiet and comfortable in his stall. I was updated throughout his surgery and recovery. The morning of pickup I had received his discharge paperwork which was nice to be able to review and familiarize myself with before pickup. When we arrived I finally met Mercedes and she was as helpful and friendly as she has been throughout our entire correspondence. Dr. Monroe met me in the barn and made sure I understood his followup care completely. When we went to leave I couldn't get my colt loaded up so I called my girl Mercedes one last time for help 😂 She promptly sent someone out and we had him loaded up in no time. Our overall experience was an A+ and I would recommend this clinic over and over. I also want to mention that I thought the cost was very reasonable. Thank you Wisconsin Equine for taking such good care of Leo. April 26 · Elizabeth Minkler
- Dr. Monroe saved our yearling stud colt from a severe impaction(colic) on a Sunday afternoon. Without the swift response and actions of our local vet Dr. Michael Graper and Dr. Lindsay Monroe and her team at WEC&H I honestly don't think "Jethro" would've made it. Extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Thank you so much to all involved. July 16 · Eric Jorgenson
- I was very happy with my experience with WECH! They were able to get my horse scheduled quickly. The exam, procedure and aftercare instructions were very detailed. The quality of care my horse received there was top notch, I’m very grateful for them! April 09 · Ashley Wilhorn
- I tried to make an appointment last week for my horse to be seen for the first time, and I was treated very rudely on the phone when making the appointment. I was asking about different vets and asking for some information but was really treated really rudely. They only seemed to care about getting my credit card or payment and not so much about my horse. I ended up canceling the appointment and using my old Vet whom I’ve never had an issue with for 20+ years. I’m sure that this is not a representation of the vets there but talking nicely to people on the phone goes along way. May 19 · Michelle Servi
- On May 8, 2025 I called on an emergency for a mare that had foaled 10 days earlier. She was not well i.e. not fully eating and was struggling. I am the owner of mare. The mare was at a near by farm. She arrived, accessed my mare and called me(facetime) as I live in Missouri. Dr Lisa Borzynski was professional! Dr Lisa balanced her clinical while still showing compassion. Sadly, this was not a good outcome. Dr Lisa, thank you for your text messages. I only wish I had her much earlier in hopes of saving my lovely mare. May 15 · Lonnie Perdue
