Choosing a veterinary hospital is a significant decision for any pet owner, and Pembroke Veterinary Hospital offers several compelling reasons to make it your first choice. One of the most important aspects is the compassionate and personal approach that the team, led by Dr. Brooks, brings to every appointment. The testimonials from clients speak volumes about the level of trust and comfort they feel. The fact that a nervous pet owner felt completely at ease during a dental procedure for their timid dog highlights the clinic’s ability to handle not just the medical side of things, but the emotional side as well. The staff’s willingness to educate and communicate clearly ensures that pet owners are never left with more questions than answers.
Furthermore, the integration of veterinary services with professional grooming is a practical benefit that simplifies life for many busy North Carolinians. Instead of juggling appointments at two different locations, you can address both health and hygiene in one visit. This is particularly valuable for pets who may be nervous about car rides or new environments, as it limits their exposure to stress. While the waiting area might be small, the staff's dedication to coming out to the car to check on animals, as mentioned in a review, shows their commitment to patient comfort and efficient service. It is a sign of a clinic that puts the needs of its clients and their animals first. For these reasons, Pembroke Veterinary Hospital is a wise choice for anyone in the Lumberton area seeking a caring, professional, and convenient place to care for their pets.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very nice staff and always cares for my pets needs. The vet also educates the customer of what is going on which is great. It's just a bit small you have to wait in your car to be seen. Other than that, no issues.
August 29 · Steve Millers ArtI had a wonderful experience with Dr. Brooks and his staff! My timid fellow, Buddy, needed a dental cleaning, and they knew I was nervous about putting him to sleep. Dr. Brooks is very personable, and reassuring, explained the process in detail beforehand. Buddy came through it like a champ, and has pearly whites now! I highly recommend Dr. Brooks and his staff, and will definitely be back to see them!
March 24 · Marcia CurrieI have used Pembroke Veterinary Hospital for 14 years for my 2 Maltipoos. Professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Friendly and caring staff. Excellent follow when treating my Maltipoos. They provide grooming services. I would recommend their services.
June 23 · Maxine BlueDr. Brooks is awesome. He took great care with Valentine and Nikita before they passed and now with Kenji, I couldn't ask for a better Vet! ❤️
September 23 · Linda DiazI recently moved to the area and switched vets. I couldn't be happier with Pembroke veterinary. I have two chihuahuas that are 3 months old that almost died from parvo. We didn't think one of the puppies was going to make it because he was very sick, but they saved both of my babies. I will be forever grateful to them. They truly are a blessing. The staff was professional, caring and understanding. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else now.
