Some people might complain about Regan Equine but it has been my experience that we often don't realize how valuable something is until we dont have it when we need it the most. Regan Equine cared for my horse almost his entire life. In the last few years we used their comprehensive wellness plan and the helped me keep up with all his needs including xrays and pain management for his arthritis. Less than a year ago I moved to Dallas and of course my horse came with me. I had the worst time finding a vet and the one who came most highly recommended because he was a performance specialist was awful. I trusted him and all he did was stand around acting like he was so smart. No xrays, no bloodwork just, "oh he definitely has EPM" here's an expensive medicine you have to give him every single day. I treated him for over a month and he did seem to get better. Then one weekend he started stumbling worse than before and I called the office and told the receptionist I needed to speak to the vet. She contacted him and he told her to tell me to order more drugs. I said no I need to speak to him. He never called me back. 3 days later my horse was down in the stall and couldn't stand back up and his office told me he couldn't come out till the NEXT day. And he NEVER called me back. Between myself, the barn manager and the barn owner we called 14 vets in Dallas and only one said they could come. From the moment I found out he was down at 7am and started calling I couldn't get a vet out until 2 in the afternoon. I have NEVER had this problem with Regan Equine. Any time I have ever called they've had someone out to the barn within an hour. Ginger cared about my horse. She would call ME to check on him. You can't even begin to understand how important a relationship like that is with your vet. The day my horse died I would have given anything to have her in my corner. She and her team are hands down exceptional and anyone who doubts that just doesnt know enough to know the other side of that coin. A vet who truely cares about you and your animal is a rare thing these days and I can't say enough good things about this vet. - Marcie Coleman
