- Animal Clinic
- Annual Wellness Exams

- Dental Care
- Deworming
Dog and cat intestinal parasites can come from contaminated soil, breastmilk, or an infected animal’s waste. Some pets may not exhibit symptoms until the infestation has progressed. At Sploot, we treat a wide range of parasitic infections, such as heartworm, roundworm, & tapeworm infestations.
- Parasite Prevention
Help your pet stay healthy and parasite-free. We offer parasite screening and parasite prevention treatments for your furry friend. We recommend that pet parents start parasite prevention early, and continue monthly preventives throughout their pet’s adult life.
- Pet Behavioral Consultations
For times of uncertainty regarding a pet’s anxiety, unexplained aggression, destructive tendencies, confusion, or resistance to training, we are here to help! We offer pet behavioral consultations to help pet parents navigate unexplained or challenging behaviors in dogs and cats.
- Pet Dental Care
We offer routine dental care (i.e. annual dental exams and teeth cleaning) for dogs and cats. We also treat cases like tooth decay, tooth fractures, oral infections, and gum disease. Depending on your pet’s need, we can provide treatment in-house or stabilize your furry friend for specialist care.
- Pet Dental Exam
Whether for routine or diagnostic purposes, we offer a thorough dental exam experience that is stress-free for both pets and pet parents. Routine dental exams are recommended for all pets, at least once a year. Dental exams are also performed on pets that have outward signs of dental issues.
- Pet Dermatology
Dogs & cats can suffer from dermatological issues like dry skin, fur loss, itchiness, ringworm, mange, allergic reactions, etc. We offer comprehensive pet dermatology. Our veterinarians will prescribe medications and/or dietary changes to help restore your pet’s skin & fur to their healthiest state.

- Teeth Cleaning for Dogs & Cats
Routine teeth cleaning is recommended for all cats and dogs, at least once a year. For cats, this starts after they are 1 year old, and for dogs, when they are 2 years of age. Teeth cleaning prevents the buildup of acidic plaque which contributes to tooth decay or life-threatening gum infections.

- Urgent Pet Care
- Vaccinations
Vaccinations protect your pet from common diseases that can come from (1) other animals, (2) animal waste, (3) stagnant bodies of water, or (4) vector insects. All dogs & cats need updated vaccines to be protected from fatal diseases, lifelong diseases, & zoonotic diseases, which can infect people.

Feeling masses under a dog or cat’s skin is concerning for pet parents. We’re here to remove the guesswork and provide the treatment your pet needs. Sploot offers mass diagnosis & mass removal surgery. Our veterinarians will determine the malignancy of the masses & recommend the best treatment.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Everyone at Sploot Highlands was so kind, caring and helpful! From the moment you walk in the door, until you walk back out, you feel like you are in the right place. I wasn't planning to have to find a vet 3 days after moving here and. So glad we landed with these folks! You will be glad you bring your pets to them.Extra thank you to Angel K. and Dr. Rachel for taking loving care with Martin today ❤️
July 04 · Molly McClishI love the Highlands Sploot specifically!! The team here is amazing and you can tell how much they truly love animals & have a passion for what they do :) My kitty loves going to see them and gets lots of delicious treats and even got a certificate today for his brace behavior! Lynn Rut was assisting us today and she is so awesome, helpful, and kind!! 10/10 experience
June 20 · Kyla DunnI’ve been bringing my kitten to Highlands Sploot since I welcomed him into my home, and it has been a fantastic experience! As a first-time owner of a Sphynx, I’ve faced a bit of a learning curve, but the staff here have made all the difference. They are consistently friendly and welcoming, and the nurses and doctors are incredibly gentle with my little one. They truly go above and beyond to ensure he feels comfortable during what could otherwise be a stressful experience. Scheduling appointments is a breeze, and the checkout process is quick and efficient. I couldn’t be happier with the care my kitten receives at Highlands Sploot!
March 30 · Gwendolyn HauserWe brought our dog Koa in today and Dr. Ziegler and Lexi were two of the best we’ve found! They both took the best care of our dog and came up with a game plan to treat him that I really appreciated. I’ve found vets in the past are hurried to do lengthy and expensive procedures without recommending lesser invasive options to try first. Not the case today….highly recommend them both!
May 24 · Ryan WegnerI had an amazing experience at Sploot! I can't recommend them enough! The staff is compassionate and most importantly knowledgeable, they made both my pet and me feel at ease throughout the visit. From the moment we walked in, the team was welcoming and attentive, answering all of my questions! Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch veterinary care! Thank you Dr. Martinez for such great care for the kiddos!
