The clinic's prominent location on a main road simplifies the journey. While specific parking details are always best confirmed upon arrival, clinics in well-established areas typically aim to provide convenient parking options for their clients. Their operating hours, though specific, are designed to accommodate appointments: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Western Animal Clinic provides a range of essential veterinary services aimed at maintaining the health and well-being of dogs and cats. While specific details beyond general practice are best confirmed directly with the clinic, based on typical veterinary clinic offerings and client feedback, their services likely include:
- Wellness and Preventive Care: This is a cornerstone of their practice, encompassing routine physical examinations to assess overall health, tailored vaccination protocols to protect against common diseases, and advice on parasite prevention (e.g., fleas, ticks, heartworm).
- Diagnostic Services: When pets are unwell, accurate diagnosis is crucial. The clinic likely offers in-house laboratory services for essential blood tests, urinalysis, and fecal exams. They also utilize imaging techniques such as radiography (X-rays) to help identify internal issues quickly. A key highlight mentioned by clients is their sensible approach to lab work, not requiring it "every time," which suggests a focus on targeted and necessary diagnostics.
- Medical Care for Illness and Injury: They provide diagnosis and treatment for a variety of common pet illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions. This includes prescribing medications and developing treatment plans tailored to the individual pet's needs.
- Dental Care: Maintaining oral hygiene is vital for a pet's overall health. While not explicitly detailed, general practices typically offer dental examinations and can advise on professional cleanings and preventative dental care.
- Surgical Procedures: Most general veterinary clinics perform common soft tissue surgeries such as spaying, neutering, and mass removals. Patient safety and pain management are standard considerations in surgical care.
- Behavioral Counseling: As part of comprehensive care, veterinarians often provide guidance on common behavioral issues and may offer advice or referrals for more complex behavioral challenges.
- Nutritional Guidance: Advice on appropriate diets for different life stages, breeds, and health conditions helps support optimal pet health.
- End-of-Life Care: When the time comes, clinics typically offer compassionate euthanasia services and support to help families navigate this difficult period.

Western Animal Clinic Reviews
I love this place. Yes, the office staff can be rude but I have found a smile and a 'How you holding up today with your busy day?' helps. The doctor is fantastic. He has a no-nonsense approach, which I appreciate, and gets to the heart of the issue and treatment quickly. I also appreciate that they do not want lab work done every time you are there. I have been using this clinic for over 15 years and so glad I found them.

Jun 05, 2025 · Laura Brewer HartleyI had an amazing experience at this vet! They were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and they took the time to thoroughly explain everything about my cat’s condition. The assistant and the front desk staff were also wonderful – very friendly and helpful. While we did wait about 1.5 hours in our car, it was absolutely worth it. The vet's care and attention made it all worthwhile. Plus, the prices were extremely reasonable – probably the most affordable vet I've been to. My cat had an infection in his back foot, likely from a fight with another animal, and they treated him with steroids and antibiotics. I’m so grateful for their excellent service and care! Highly recommend this clinic! Pulque says thank you!!
Nov 16, 2024 · ErikaThank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you guys did for me and sweet boy. Although it was hard to hear that we might need to put our boy down, it was the honest truth that other vet clinic did not have the gut to say. You guys were up front and honest and did everything you guys could to help save him. The price is right and service is great. Even after his passing, you guys sent a sweet sympathy card and made sure he was well taken care of until he was picked up for cremation. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
Feb 20, 2025 · amber alonsoI was scared to have my dog put under and have 23 teeth, pulled but the way that this veterinarian clinic is set up with waiting in the car and not having all of the anxiety that comes in the waiting room helped tremendously. The staff was knowledgeable and professional, and was able to answer all my questions. I dropped him off at 8:30 in the morning and picked him up at 2 PM. He was out of it, but in good health overall I would highly highly recommend this vet.
