Tennessee Avenue Animal Hospital Reviews
Dr. Nance is hands-down the best vet I have ever been to. Vet tech Brandy and Dr. Nance are so well-mannered, helpful, and concise in their guidance and plan of action to both our cat and dog's personal needs for full wellbeing. I am so grateful for our pets to be in their care.Dr. Nance is especially helpful in listing treatment plan with costs to be able to comfortably and financially plan for the best course of action in our pet's health!
Jul 14, 2025 · Grace BurketWe’ve had a disappointing experience with this practice. It often feels like the priority is selling products rather than genuinely caring for our pet’s health. During visits, the push to purchase additional services and items can feel excessive and uncomfortable. We had already paid for our dog’s lab services in advance, but because we were three days past their 28-day policy, they refused to accept a stool sample unless we paid for the test again. I recommend finding a different practice that cares about the quality of life for your pet than dollars in their pockets.
Jun 19, 2025 · RachelIt's a very long drive for us but our girls had been seeing her for over 8 years. We lost our Sadie unexpectedly on Oct 12th. Doc was, as always very caring of us during this very difficult time. She also took very good care of our girl!! 😇 Sadie was a sweet people dog and wanted everyone's hands on her all the time. I highly recommend if your looking for a caring vet for your babies. Sadie is cream color and Ruby is red. Went in with 3 dogs 🐕 left with 4!! 10-7-23 Peanut 🥰
Dec 19, 2023 · D. Christine RowanDr. Laura and her staff have been taking care of our furry family members for several years. Our sweet little Phoebe becomes a beast when around people other than family. She's a mixed breed, but we were told her mama was a Rottweiler. Based on her behavior, I suspect her daddy was a chihuahua. Basically, she's a nervous wreck who lashes out when she's anxious. She has a reputation that she's difficult and I suspect there's a hint of apprehension among the staff when she's on the calendar. However, during our last visit, Ashley made an extra effort to make Phoebe fell comfortable, and it worked. She's never been so calm. It's hard to believe she's the same dog.Where is this rambling review going? Simply put, the staff at Tennessee Animal Hospital will love your pet and treat them as if they were their own, even if your furry family member is a handful.
