Banfield Pet Hospital Reviews
The ladies that work here (Hyde park location) are too nice not to review!A few months ago I had to bring my dog in last minute on account of my dog having sprained her tail. The veterinarian, tech, and other staff were the most kind to me and my dog. My dog has severe vet anxiety and it is be challenging going to the vet. The staff took their time with her, were super understanding, and ended up making it a very positive experience for me and my dog. I can’t remember the name of the doctor, but she was so great!! I think the vet tech’s name was Tiara, and she was amazing as well. Great experience and first visit was free!
May 28, 2025 · Anna-Faith ElliottI called to get my cat’s vaccination records - she’s 16 going on 17 & we haven’t been to this location in around 9 years. Not only do they only have records for her last visit for a UTI check but the only thing they say she’s due for is another UTI check? Weird because they have 0 vaccinations she’s due for - including rabies - even though she hasn’t seen them & they don’t have current vet records. Also, their tech Allison who answered the phone was incredibly rude & unprofessional. I understand being frustrated with life and/or work as a therapist who has also worked in many other fields, and a human being with many life complications including having a father currently dying from stage 4 cancer, but I don’t understand taking that frustration out on others, particularly in a professional setting and when they are merely trying to understand the way the records work to help their “child” & their well-being. I would not recommend. Used to be a good facility but now it seems they just price gouge, they’re unprofessional & they don’t even maintain medical records for visits to coordinate care in or out of house.
Jun 11, 2025 · Kayla nobbsThey are very caring and it shows ad soon as you arrive. You can sense that they administer care as though your pet is theirs. Continue doing what you're doing because it works and is appreciated.
Jun 27, 2024 · Christine WhiteheadI brought my dog in for being in pain, not able to walk or stand on her own, and seeming very depressed. The vets and staff listened to my concerns and were so sweet to my dog. They started my dog on a pain reliever, muscle relaxer, and steroid. My dog is doing much better now. She’s acting like her old self again; She’s bright-eyed, happy, and freely walking on her own again. She is about 14 years old, so I was worried this might be the end of the road for her. I am beyond happy to see her back to her old self and know I have a lot more time left to spend with her! 🧡
Sep 15, 2024 · Liz JohnsonI am so happy with Hyde Park Banfield staff especially Dr.Justin Suchomel and Renee the check in receptionist. They both were very patient and wanted to answer any questions dealing with my senior dog who is 15 years old. He gets anxiety whenever going to the doctor but they ease his mind as well as mine. They don't make you feel rushed and will even help with check in if your running late. I truly appreciate y'all.😍
