Jul 02, 2025 · Rhonda MooreStevensI’ve been taking my pooch to the UMVH for several years. Whether it’s been for a routine/acute visits, or boarding services… Dr. Mesfin and the staff have been wonderful. I’ve always felt that my pooch has been in safe hands/care.
Apr 24, 2025 · NicoleI first came to Upper Marlboro Veterinary Hospital when we became the owners of our adopted boy Dallas. He was a 7 months old Rottweiler. We looked at several vets in the area and took a chance with them over the others. Best decision we ever made besides adopting Dallas. We’ve been coming to Upper Marlboro Veterinary Hospital for 8 years. The staff is professional and loving. They treat him like he is their only client. As I’m sure they do with every pet that comes through their door. I couldn’t have asked for a better vet. Whether he’s there for a bath or a checkup. I never worry. I know he’s in good hands. I’m truly grateful that we walked through that door. 😊
Dec 07, 2024 · Alfreda Parker-SmothersAfter scouring the internet for days and reading reviews, I chose Upper Marlboro Vet. The reviews didn't lie. From the moment we walked in, the reception was AMAZING! The facility was clean and did not smell. The receptionist was very friendly to the puppy and me. The Vet assistant was knowledgeable and patient. The Dr. was friendly and quick. I did not feel rushed, and all of my questions were answered. They all made sure that I understood the process. 10 out of 10, I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!!!
Jun 04, 2025 · Ms. DeanThe doctor cut Mr. Gators nails this time and did a wonderful job. Didn’t realize he was a 153 pounds, thanks for the heath check up without doing any labs, the staff were professional, Continue to love and respect all the animals that you guys come across , much appreciated. NOW WHAT HAPPENED TO GATOR THIS WEEK, after the check up. He was given a prescription of Cefpoderm tablets 200mg to take1.5 by mouth every 24 hours by mouth. After which he stop eating and swoll up, took him back and they gave him a steroid shot for the swelling, without taking any lab or culture's. A few days later GATOR stater drooling blood from the mouth. Took him to Veg emergency veterinary hospital on Monday the 19, and they gave him a mammogram and did some cultures. Gators test showed he had fluid on his heart that made him short of breath, and the fluid was cancerous. With this being said, we didn't want GATOR to suffer any more. So GATOR is now resting in peace we had him put down. SO IF YOU ARE USING THIS VETERINARY, STICK WITH GROOMING AND NAILS, IF YOUR PET IS SICK, TAKE THEM TO A EMERGENCY HOSPITAL, NOT MALROBRO VET. We lost the love of our life, Gator will truly be missed, thanks for nothing Malrobro veterinary.
