UrgentVet Introduce
The core mission of UrgentVet is to provide quick, convenient, and compassionate care for a wide array of ailments, such as gastrointestinal issues like diarrhea and vomiting, minor wounds, skin allergies, or sudden lameness. Their unique operating hours—open evenings, weekends, and all major holidays, 365 days a year—ensure that help is available precisely when many primary vets are closed. The clinic offers Same-day After-hours Care and is designed to minimize stress on pets and owners alike, featuring Fear-Free Certified Staff and specialized, private examination rooms.
The focus is strictly on Urgent Veterinary Services for acute illnesses and injuries, not routine general practice care like vaccinations or annual exams. After treatment, the UrgentVet team is diligent about communicating with your regular veterinarian, sending a copy of your pet’s records to ensure seamless follow-up care. This collaborative model positions UrgentVet as the perfect bridge between your family vet and a 24-hour critical care hospital, offering prompt service and peace of mind to Oklahoma pet parents. The positive feedback from local clients, noting the staff's thoroughness, sweet demeanor, and ability to quickly diagnose and treat conditions—such as a tweaked back in a dog—solidifies their reputation as a trusted local resource.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- We took our 7 year old Yorkie mix, Rosie, to Urgent Vet Saturday evening based on a referral from our regular vet. The vet assistant, Jaira, was so caring to Rosie and the both of us. The doctor on staff, Dr. Ayres was also very caring to Rosie and my wife and I. They were both very thorough and took extra time to talk us through the different scenarios of diagnosis, tests and possible outcomes. Gave us peace of mind. Grateful for the two of them. - My dog was hurting and I rushed her to UrgentVet. They got us right in. Kara was sweet and took our info. Then the doctor came in. I thought she was having an upset stomach. Turns out she tweaked her back. The doctor figured it out in minutes. They sent us home with some meds and a plan. Then they called to check on her the next day. So very sweet of them. She is doing much better. Would definitely recommend them 100% July 08 · J Thom
- I took my 14 year old Chihuahua there because he wasn't feeling well. While the diagnosis wasn't what I was hoping for and it ended up being his last ride, the staff there was absolutely amazing. They are so caring and compassionate, and knowledgeable. Everything was upfront as far as care plan and pricing so I knew what I was paying as we went along. I miss my good boy but he was definitely in great hands. Highly recommend and will definitely use their services again when the need arises. August 26 · Tamra Mosher
- My dog fell and injured her back leg... we took her here to be checked and was a walk in... they took her right in and the vet was so sweet and knowledgeable... she didn't rush us through and was able to get our baby on her feet and some med... next day a call to check on her... I will definitely use them or recommend them to everyone...the office is secure, clean, no odors!!! June 18 · Rose hewitt
- Amazing staff and veterinarian. We took our 17 year old cat and beloved family member there. They were able to explain her labs and how much time she had left. They were straightforward and very kind. Sure, it’s pricey, but any urgent care will be. It was worth every penny to get some answers and some supportive medicine as our girl moves on.
