★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1As a fellow veterinarian, I just wanted to give this hospital a quick review to share how pleasant of an experience I had with the staff. I have a clinic just down the road and I called to borrow glucose strips, as ours were expired, and they did not hesitate to lend me their glucometer! They were so kind & I imagine their pet care feels the same way! Love when vets help vets, thank you for your support :)
August 21 · Jalan WishikWhen I arrived the receptionist was on the phone which is completely normal of course. So I sat right in front where you can clearly see me for when she was done with the call. It was a long call with plenty of personal banter mixed with business. After 10 minutes she helped someone else who came in after me, again lots of personal banter which I get but when people are waiting and havent been acknowledged it's not the best look. One person was doing everything in the back while the receptionist ignored me. That person asked me who I brought in (my cat) and seemed like a good employee. She had to ask me over the personal talking happening with the receptionist and a customer who came in after me. Another 15 minutes go by of me waiting ignored by her. Mind you she saw me come in and I would try to make eye contact every few minutes to see if she would say hi or acknowledge me.After she left the desk for a few minutes and came back, she picked up the phone again. This was almost a half hour after the appointment time. Told her to cancel. Won't be touching my pet. Had a good previous experience but will be looking for a place that doesn't ignore me with only one other customer in the lobby.
July 24 · Roger PoultryI will NEVER take my dogs to this vet again. My 9 yr old pug was recently diagnosed by our mobile vet with diabetes and wanted us to follow up with a vet that wasn’t mobile. My dog has also had surgeries here and we never had any problems before. So I made my first appointment for the diabetic checkup Thursday at 4. The dr wanted the records from my mobile vet. I explained he’s closed until Monday and that’s the soonest I’d be able to get it. She said Monday would be fine but she still wanted to see her Saturday to check her blood sugar again to see if the insulin needed to be adjusted. At the appointment they checked her blood sugar and then said there was nothing else they would do because we didn’t have the records. Then why make me come in and charge me another $200. I could’ve checked her blood sugar at home. Also tried charging me $80 for a box of syringes that cost $19 on Amazon. Complete rip off all they care about is making money not your pets!
April 05 · Alyea FelicioneRecently had a yearly check up for the 4th year in a row and it was very unprofessional this go round. Waited in lobby for 30 minutes like an appointment wasn’t in place. The vet seemed new and scared of my dog, who is a pit bull. With the prescribed dosage in place, my dog was still very anxious and agitated, he wore a muzzle in the room 30 minutes before a doctor came back to continue. Everything was so unorganized that they had ultimately to put my dog in a standing chokehold to give him a shot with the assistance of us (3 people) and two other veterinarians . Handling him like this caused him to defecate in the room. We were left in there for 15 minutes until the final blood draw where the final nurse was more equipped to finish the appt and put a towel over his face which worked effectively.
July 17 · Janae ParkerI recently had to have my dog put down and had just moved to town. As sad as that was, I can say that this VCA location really helped me through the complete process during this difficult time. I will be forever grateful.
