Vetco Vaccination Clinic is a dedicated service focused primarily on delivering core vaccinations and preventative treatments for pets. Unlike full-service veterinary hospitals, Vetco streamlines its offerings to specialize in these essential services, which often translates to more affordable pricing and quicker visits. This model is particularly beneficial for New York pet owners looking for a reliable, no-frills option to keep their pets up-to-date on necessary immunizations and parasite control without the expense or extended wait times often associated with broader veterinary practices. It's a professional, efficient, and friendly environment designed to prioritize the health of your pet while respecting your time and budget.
For New York residents, particularly those in Jefferson County and the greater Watertown area, Vetco Vaccination Clinic offers unparalleled convenience. Situated at 21851 Towne Center Dr, Watertown, NY 13601, USA, the clinic's location is easily accessible. Being part of a "Towne Center" often implies proximity to other retail establishments, making it simple to combine a pet's vaccination visit with other errands. This accessibility is a key advantage for busy New Yorkers, allowing for a seamless integration of pet care into their daily routines. The location likely benefits from ample parking, further enhancing the ease of your visit.
Watertown serves as a hub for many surrounding communities in Northern New York, meaning pet owners from towns like Calcium, Black River, Evans Mills, and even Fort Drum can easily reach this clinic. The focus on vaccinations and basic preventative care means visits are typically efficient, reducing stress for both pets and their owners. The clinic’s structure is designed to handle a steady flow of clients, ensuring that even if you're a little late, as one reviewer noted, they strive to accommodate you as quickly as possible. This commitment to efficiency and convenience makes Vetco an ideal choice for regular preventative health maintenance.
While Vetco Vaccination Clinic specializes in a focused range of services, they are essential for the ongoing health and safety of your pet. Their offerings are designed to provide the most critical preventative care in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Core Vaccinations: Providing necessary immunizations for dogs (e.g., Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella) and cats (e.g., Rabies, FVRCP, Feline Leukemia) to protect them from common and serious diseases. These are fundamental to preventative care.
Non-Core Vaccinations: Offering additional vaccinations based on your pet's lifestyle and risk factors, such as Lyme disease or canine influenza vaccines, after consultation.
Microchipping: A vital service for pet identification, significantly increasing the chances of reuniting lost pets with their owners. This quick procedure provides lifelong peace of mind.
Parasite Prevention and Control: Dispensing or prescribing medications for the prevention and treatment of fleas, ticks, heartworm, and intestinal parasites. This includes testing for heartworm disease.
Basic Preventative Screenings: Often offering basic health screenings, such as blood tests for certain conditions, as part of a preventative care package, ensuring early detection of potential issues.
Puppy and Kitten Packages: Tailored vaccination and deworming schedules specifically designed for young pets to establish a strong foundation for their immune systems and overall health during their crucial developmental stages.
Affordable Pricing: A primary advantage of Vetco clinics is their commitment to providing these essential services at a more accessible price point compared to traditional full-service veterinary hospitals.

Vetco Vaccination Clinic Reviews
Was amazing from the very beginning and the absolute best was the cashier before Prince and I left. Sadie was outstanding. I’m a first time dog owner and she was so helpful and incredibly nice. But overall I had a fantastic experience. Thank you all very much.
Mar 06, 2025 · ChrissyI was late! They took me as fast as possible. Very young but professional crew. I really could nor ask for better service.
Apr 29, 2025 · Lawrence LowellHad a bad experience just walking in and checking my pets in for shots. The lady at the front was extremely rude and unprofessional and snobby. She just rudely checked us in and didn't weigh my cat or ask any questions. The vet staff seemed extremely incompetent to do their job and charged me for vaccines I didn't get and just told me i had to come back to get the rest like I would want to stress my dog out more just cuz he's scared of needles and growled he never tried to bite or anything he was scared and they made it worse for him.
May 16, 2024 · Gretchen KIf you ever wondered why every other clinic is backed up on vaccination appointments and this place isn’t, I’ll tell you why; it’s the quality of service. I could go on a huge rant with how many things went wrong today when I went for two simple shots but I’ll keep it short. The site is set up in the open right next to the cash registers without any sort of privacy barriers for dogs being vaccinated, of course meaning dogs will be jumpy or anxious with the large amount of foot traffic walking by with pets. The staff also did not properly prep the needle so it had a huge air bubble causing the vet to stick the dog twice. The first time she stuck the dog and began to pushed the plunger she realized the air bubble and took the needle out to prep the syringe. Then the second time around she correctly administered the shot but had her staff hold our pup down making him get really anxious and he begin to try to get out of their hold. So before they administered the next shot they wanted us to place a muzzle on him, we placed the muzzle and they proceeded to readjust and tighten. He was once again held down by two vets but from the struggle he bit his tongue and bleed everywhere. He also vomited and used the bathroom. Keep in mind he is a 5 month old 29Ib Austrian Shepard. We get home and of course he’s scared and very to himself clearly he’s in pain from the wound on his tongue. For all this we were offered no compensation, I talked to Vetco and the best they could do is annotate it in our account.
